Stop the Camera is an entertaining site consisting entirely of bloopers and behind-the-scenes clips from the filming of adult movies. Listen to the director’s instructions, watch the girls recoil from a too-strong cumshot, check out a pornstar’s cigarette break, see the models get dressed for their shoots, and listen in as a couple gets the giggles during a sex scene. This is clearly not your typical porno site.
The Goods –
They’ve got a nice sized collection of content. There are currently over 516 clips (12 GB) online. There’s a ton of variety in the site, with clips featuring everything from actual sex to interviews. There’s some comedy, some pain, and plenty of nakedness.
Some of the scenes look good. The ones that were filmed more recently look quite sharp, playing at 3600k and 856x480 in size. Quality varies over the collection, but there are some really nice looking ones in the mix.
Members of Stop the Camera get access to the entire Hardore Network of sites. 12 sites are included, covering some of the raunchiest themes we’ve ever seen, like Ass Smoothie and Swirlie Girls. The collection more than lives up to its name.
The Bads –
I don’t think any of the content is exclusive. In fact, a lotof it looks pretty old. The costumes, hairstyles, dialogue, and video quality all make it clear that many of these outtakes were filmed in the early nineties. I’m not sure where they came from, but I doubt Stop the Camera had anything to do with their creation.
No information is provided about any of the scenes. It was really odd to me that they didn’t share where the clips came from. It would be nice to know the name of the actual film that was being shot. They don’t tell you who the models are, when the scene was filmed, or even tech stuff like file sizes. You get nada.
There are no tools for browsing the collection. All you get is 58 pages of browsing. There are no categories or search tools to make getting around easier.
Membership is expensive. It’ll cost you $35 a month to be a member of Attack My Ass. The network access helps, but it’s still a very pricey join.
Updates are erratic. They updated twice in one day a few weeks ago, and then two weeks passed with nothing. That’s all the update information they provide, so I’m not sure if that’s just how they do things or if it was a fluke.
Conclusion –
Stop the Camera is best appreciated as part of The Hardcore Network. It’s a fun concept, but the site itself comes up short in many areas. On its own, it’s not worth the high price. However, there is still plenty to enjoy here so if the rest of the network appeals to you, Stop the Camera may be worth a look.
