Southern Strokes is a gay site featuring Southern Men stroking their cocks and/or having sex with each other on film. It's a new site, so the member’s area is still somewhat small, only offering about 20+ photo/video shoots at present. Everything is exclusive however, and new updates are being added weekly. So this really is a simple, basic yet straightforward site with a handful of sexy male models and pretty good quality content for about $26.95 per month. Really there's not much more to say, but let's break it down for you like we always do...
The Good:
- Exclusive content of real sexy Southern men pleasuring themselves for film. They stroke it, insert toys, and at times have sex with one another. There are about 15+ men showcased, some of which make more than one appearance on the site. The videos are especially enjoyable to watch, especially the beginning interviews. I admit I don't have the best gaydar, but some of these guys are definitely straight and simply stroking off as if they would in their own bedroom, so that might be a draw for some of you. I know it was for me!
- Very nice quality content. Images look sharp! they're nice sized and super bright, colorful images with great resolution. The videos also look very nice even though the average bitrate speed is about 1600k.
- Simplicity almost works to this small sites advantage at this point because in the way that it helps add to the overall personality. The models are simply listed along with some lengthy bio/content descriptions. Eventually they're going to have to re-work the design and give users more browse options.
The Bad:
- This is still a very small & simple site. User features need to be added, too. Things like a quick browse model index with short bio information and access to the models content, zip file downloads for images sets, maybe even a way to browse the models/content by specifics: eye color, dick size, gay/straight, etc.
The Room for Improvement:
- Quality looks great, but I'd love to see it go even better! With the quality equipment they obviously use to shoot the content on this site, adding 3000k streams for videos and even larger format images would make this site even more awesome!
The Conclusion:
Yes, I added an additional section to this review that we normally don't, but it is my review and I'll do what I want! I liked this site, and from a woman's perspective! Normally when I look at content, I've almost got my kinkier side going that relates more to men’s desires than a woman’s. This site really brought out the chick in me who enjoys watching great looking men enjoy themselves. There is some content that crosses the gay - straight borders, so I really think they've hit the mark for a versatile site. I definitely look forward to seeing some growth and hope that they add more user options for browsing the content, but maintain the same level of personality with lengthy content descriptions and model information. For the size, the price point is a little too high, but not so high that I would have any qualms about recommending this site to users. In fact, I just may come back for my own enjoyment purposes!
