Southern Strokes is up for review today, and this is a site that provides content of supposedly straight dudes who hail from the southern part of the USA. There's lots of solo content here, but I was surprised to see gay scenes too since they stressed that these guys are straight early on. It seems to be a newer site, but the content is all exclusive, and you can get inside for $27 a month to check out what they have to offer.
The goods:
- Exclusive male/gay content. They call these boys straight, but when you suck dick and take it from behind, there's definitely some gay content here too. The solo scenes I call just male content, as who knows their orientation really. It's all exclusive here for sure.
- Updates come weekly. A new scene is added consistently every week, which is good to see. They need as many updates as they can get to get the content counts up here.
The bads:
- Small site. There are just over 20 scenes online currently, which just isn't a lot to see unfortunately. The updates should help, but since they only come weekly, even in a year they'll still be under 75 scenes. It could take some time to really get going here.
- Quality could be bumped up a notch. All the content looks good here, but there's some small room for improvement I'd say. Pictures look good, but could be larger. Videos have a slight grainy look to them that could be sharper with a little better encoding.
- Site is a bit plain. The design is very simple, with text dominating everything here and very few pictures/graphics. The same goes with navigation as there's just one way to browse the site, and you can't even jump around through all the pages except for going back and forth one page at a time.
Conclusion:
The content here at Southern Strokes is decent, and it's definitely the main reason to join. Given some time to grow (maybe a lot of time), it will be a nice resource in the future. For now, I'd really love to see more updates to get them growing even faster if possible. Also, their site may need a re-do, especially as the site grows since it'll be pretty difficult to get around in the future with this setup. It's off to a good start, but needs a bit of work to really succeed.
