Intro

SoCal Glamour Girls calls itself "an outrageous online magazine and sexy network of bikini model/news girls" With more than 475 videos and 300 image galleries, I'm surprised we haven't reviewed this site before. Updates are added almost daily, and although you can't download any of the videos here, a $19.99 monthly membership also gives users 10 free chat credits each month, free topless chats each Saturday, plus plenty of extras like SoCal model Tweets, etc. Basically, this is a live cam site, but will cost you extra, and apparently models set their own Group and Private Chat pricing; prices which were unclear to me during my review.

The Pros

Unique Community Concept/Cam Site.

The set-up here is unique. There are a decent amount of models, all from Southern California. Users can read their Tweets and check out the photo/video content. Most of the content is locked, and so even as a paying VIP member you'll have to purchase credits to view. A decent sized collection of video clips are available as unlocked to VIP members, and these feature sexy strip shows, masturbation scenes, topless, girl-girl goofy fun and more. Most of the content is very light in nature, softcore, but at least the girls are smokin' hot like only SoCal girls can be.

Users can comment an albums & videos, vote, chat in the member's forum, get involved on Facebook, Twitter and more. The site itself can be read like a blog, so this is one site that's far from boring even though there are a lot of upsells.

Updates Often.

I'd say something new is added each day and sometimes even more. Some of it is available for VIP member's while others need to be unlocked by using/purchasing tokens.

Other Good Stuff:

"Free" topless chats are available each Saturday for VIP member's from 7-8pm PST.
VIP users are given 10 free credits each month.
Video clips are offered in Flash or WMV format.

The Cons

No Downloads/Lots of Upsells.

To be perfectly honest, it doesn't feel like you get a whole lot for your monthly VIP membership, which at almost $20 bucks per month is about the same price as many paysites these days. None of the girls were online live during my visit so I didn't get to check out any of the live cam shows and what you do get with your VIP membership is only a sample of the same pics & vids that are offered as upsells. In order to view high res images and full 4-5 minute clips, users must pay extra to unlock them. Nothing is yours to keep on your hard drive, only so long as you remain a member. Videos & galleries cost anywhere from 3-5 credits

Minor Negatives:

LIVE Video Chat can be expensive. Credits will be deducted from your Account for each minute you are in Group Chat or VIP Chat! "VIP Chat" is usually $5-$7 per minute and is for explicit 1:1 private shows. "Group Chat" is usually $1-$3 per minute for a longer less explicit chat, like a "video date."
The site design and set-up is nice, but can be overwhelming and confusing. I had to come back and try again to review this site and it looked like on my second visit I was in a better designed beta version of the site. It looks promising and makes knowing what's included with your VIP membership and what's not easier to figure out, but the site itself is still rather confusing.

Bottom Line

A handful of hot SoCal girls with personality, but expensive content.

Clearly this is a unique site, and mainly a PPV site. While I don't mind that, what I do mind is having to pay almost $20 bucks a month to little teasers to the PPV content. While there is quite a bit to see that is included, none of it is the super high quality, downloadable type material you'd think. Live chats can get expensive and none of the models were online live during my visit (Saturday afternoon). There is apparently a live topless show later tonight, so maybe I'll have to check that out, but like everything else in Southern California, this is one babe site that will cost you more for everything, and quite a bit!
