Intro

Skin Video is a hardcore video download site that has been around a number of years now and has sizable archive in place. They feature non-exclusive hardcore action of all sorts from amateur to studio style. Membership options are worth discussing right off the bat as they have a low monthly recurring price that is for access to just the standard-def videos section. The multi-month options are necessary to get the high-def videos and photo galleries.

The Pros

Big Archive of Video/DVD Videos, All Sorts of Hardcore.

Skin Video is a general video download site in that they have videos from all different niches and fetishes. Content is from various studios and they have a lot of amateur style scenes along with more studio produced movies. While videos are the centerpiece there is also a photo gallery section available to multi-month members which have online pics and zip files.

Full Scene MPG, MP4 & iPod Downloads; In-Browser Flash.

Movie options are mostly consistent with full-scene downloadable files in MPG/DivX, MP4, and iPod. The in-browser Flash streaming loads/buffers within a few seconds and allows for immediate jumping ahead.

Other Good Stuff:

Navigation includes niche categories under the main sections of DVDs, Amateur, and HD. They also have a model index and search/filter tool and advanced filtering when browsing the niche sections.
This present layout is a new design. The upper right of the header includes a link for members to switch over to the old version for those who prefer navigating by that method.
For multi-month premium members they do have some HD quality videos available. It looks like there are hundreds of videos with the high-def format.

The Cons

Mixed Bag of Non-Exclusive Content, Some Partial Scenes.

Some of the videos I checked out were just a minute or two long and felt like they were only partial scenes. For instance there I hit on some blowjob scenes that ended before the cumshot, etc. Others are full with more standard lengths of 10-20 minutes but it is hit-and-miss in that regard. Content includes scenes that are familiar from studios and production companies that are found elsewhere on other sites.

Average Video Quality/Options, HD for Multi-Month Members Only.

They don't have a standard WMV format option and instead have MPG/DivX along with the MP4. Some older scenes have fewer options available. Obviously the HD is something here that's available but only to the multi-month members so that limitation may turn off many users.

Minor Negatives:

No video file size information is provided for the downloads. Also, when you open a video page the in-browser Flash always begins playing which can be a bit annoying if you're just looking for downloads.
While there are navigation tools like the model search/index and categories the overall page appearance is somewhat cluttered and they don't have movie source info for the scenes.
There are some upsells for other studio sites in the member's area and for other thinks like live cams.

Bottom Line

A sizable hardcore video download site with all sorts of different niches/fetished included.

Skin Video's main strength is the large amount of videos available to download and that the action is quite varied. Lots of the scenes have an amateur feel to them although they are from a mix of production companies. Quality and options are only average for a site like this and the upsells for high-def, pictures, and other sites are negatives. Lots of recent dates and updates are shown however our TBP content fact managers have noted the counts often remain about the same so the log might not be totally accurate with what they're actually adding.
