Honestly, when I took my first look at Simonscans, I wasn't all too excited about reviewing it. The tour didn't really excite me as it seemed a little plain, and didn't really get into what we'd see inside. Sure, it had the obligatory pics and bios of a few girls, but what am I looking at here? Are these first-timers, pros, Europeans, teens, or what? Maybe I'm just tired today or something :)
Stepping inside, you're immediately presented with Simon's latest updates. Three updates a week with three new sets per update equates to just a bit over 1,000 new pics a week. Things are looking up already! The last 25 updates include new galleries from about 10 different girls. I'm not sure how often they add new girls, but they have over 175 ladies online right now which seems like quite a bit to me.
Navigation is pretty simple. Browse by updates, or by model. The only thing that annoys me is all the new windows that open up every time you click something! Ah well :) The models all seem pretty amateur, with a couple of familiar faces (although Simon has shot all the pics on this site himself). They range from some very cute girls, to some not-so-hot chicks as well (but I'm glad they're all there).
The picture quality is pretty damn good! The newer pics are coming in at 1100x800 or so, and are extrememly crisp and clean looking. The shoots range from indoor to outdoor, from glamour to kinky. At least you can always count on great looking pics, and pretty large galleries. I was disappointed in a few sets that the girls didn't get completely naked (sometimes I just gotta see the boobs), but nothing too annoying!
The movies also look great, with the option of either Windows Media or MPG's. Both started streaming pretty quick, which is a definite plus. The only problem here is the lack of videos. We only counted about 28 videos at the time (each broken into a few clips) which I hope will grow in the future. I wish all the ladies had a few videos I could watch!
Simonscans succeeds in my mind because there's simply nothing wrong with it. It didn't stand out like some other sites have, but I really can't knock it, because they do everything right. Hopefully their video archive grows a bit, which is the only real place I felt they lacked. The pictures and video that're up look really great, and you can't complain about the updates at all. Overall, very nicely done.

Simon has been faithfully scanning, while the rest of us here were faithfully reviewing other sites! Back to Simon (who actually doesn't scan anything, sorry to say). The site has undergone a redesign of sorts, although it still looks very similar and keeps the same look.
One of the biggest differences here is the amount of content. He's more than doubled both his picture and video galleries, which is great. This was especially helpful in the video section where he went from 28 videos to 60+. Quality all around is as good as ever (his Windows Media clips are at 600kbps, and his pics are still 1100x800 or so).
The navigation is a bit tricky, mostly with all those windows opening up. The magnifier thing is a cool gimick, but it caused me more grief than necessary. Somehow it enlarges the page on the fly, but I preferred to just use the hard links available.
The only other problem here is the price went up! We're now sitting at $30 a month, which bumps the site up into the expensive category unfortunately.
Quantity goes up, Entertaining goes up, Quality goes up, Value goes down slightly.
Score increased from 91.4 to 93.7.
