There are not many sites out there with over 80,000 real amateur pics, but SimonScans is one of them. His collection of softcore pics is better than just about anyone else's out there. All his stuff is exclusive, and Simon takes all the pics himself. He's obviously put tons of time into shoots, and lucky for us, because now there's just a truckload of galleries (600+) of high-resolution pics (avg 748x1124).
The girls in here are truely amateurs, and this site isn't just one hot model-looking babe after another. Most are attractive, but they do cover the entire range from unbeleiveably hot to pretty damn ugly. Since there's over 600 chicks, I'm certain you'll find many you like a lot. Hey, it's also kinda funny to laugh at the ugly broads and wonder why they thought they should be nude models. Typically the galleries include the girl undressing, showing you her goodies, some spread eagle close-up pussy shots, and finally some masturbation or toy play. Simon does mix in a decent variety of locations (not every chick is just posing on a bed or couch). He points out that he'll be using more exotic locations in the future.
Right now the movies section is weak in comparison to the photo galleries. Simon readily admits he's just recently started working on that part. Currently there's a couple dozen chicks with movies, most of which are solo masturbation with toys. I did however run accross one deo of girl/girl action. Hopefully more of that is on the way.
The navigation works pretty good. The model directory is easy to use and allows viewing in the following categories: All, Pro, Amateur, Students, MILFs, and First Timers. My complaint here is that every model picture I click on opened a new browser window. That got kind of annoying. Otherwise, moving around is pretty straighforward. There's also message boards where site members, models, and Simon interact on a regular basis. It gives you a chance to voice your opinion on the content and make suggestions for upcoming shoots.
Updates come three times a week. Each time three new models are added and several hundred pictures. It doesn't look like there's any regular updated going in the movies section. If those start, that'll add something nice to the site. With a monthly price of $24.95, SimonScans is competitive with similar softcore amateur model sites. It's a reasonable cost considering everything you get is original and you won't be running accross this collection anywhere else.

In the months since my original review it looks like Simon has been up to his same old tricks, and that's a good thing for us. His site still has one of the best collections of exclusive amateur softcore porn. Many of these models look like the type of chicks that any average Joe could land. The picture quality is exceptional and he's stepped up the update rate to 4-6 times a week whereas it used to be three per week. Actually, the total number of galleries had pretty much doubled from 600 to now around 1,200. The movies section has also been expanded to 63 total videos (WMV and Mpegs) and the quality of those is great too.
In the original review I mentioned the message board, which is still active, but I neglected to point out the model rating system that allows members to rate each girl on a 1-10 scale. A section is dedicated to browsing the Top 75 models. These rating and message board features along with the included updates schedule make Simon Scans more user friendly and interactive that most sites. Also note the small change to the pricing structure: the $24.95 non-recurring is now recurring and it costs $29.95/mo for non-recurring. My scoring adjustments are as follows: Quantity +0.5, Updates +0.5 and Features +0.5.
Score increased from 87.8 to 89.4.
