Seems like everyone and their mom is in the reality business these days (see Moms Get Fucked in this very review if you don't believe me). So the guys over at the Sic Network decided to jump in as well, and today we take a look at their entry. Seems pretty standard - they've got 11 sites you get access to, and they all fall into the hardcore reality genre. The first thing that threw me way off was the absurd price of $40 a month. I don't think any site/s is/are worth that kind of money. Hell, I'd rather join Abby Winters AND Climax Corner and still have $15 a month to spare (which are both top 5 sites btw). The silver lining, if there is one, is that they offer up a three-day $1 trial, which is about as good as trials get.
Another problem I see forming up here as I look around is that this is a pretty big company producing these. That tends to give the sites a very corporate feel to them. All of the sites have the exact same number of episodes, and have the exact same layout. How much thought goes into each one is anybody's guess. Also, even though they try to have separate themes for the sites, most of the time you end up with pretty much the same videos anyway. The "reality" portion here isn't too exciting at all, and it basically ends up being generic porn videos.
Each episode has some pictures available, but they're only screen caps. They're sized around 650x434 on all the sites I looked at, and are fine for what they are. If you need a preview of the video before you watch it, I guess they can be useful for that. Otherwise, I'd skip the pictures and go straight to the videos.
The videos are all in Windows Media format, and are actually pretty good quality-wise on most of the sites. The better-looking ones are 320x240 at 500kbps, and they have a low-quality version as well which is smaller and encoded at 100kbps. A couple sites (Sorority Hookers and Moms Get Fucked for sure) have even better-quality videos at 400x300 or 640x480 and 600 or 700kbps! Overall though, video quality is about on par with other reality sites. Nothing too great, but they definitely are good enough.
My biggest problem here is just the lack of personality from most of the sites. Sure, they have hardcore videos (actually maybe harder than most), but there's no good reality aspect to any of them. They end up all looking about the same overall, which just gets boring to me.
There's a few extras to check out, but nothing worth mentioning. With an overall lackluster performance in my opinion, and a high price tag, I can't really recommend anyone check this out. If you just really need some new reality content, I guess you could check out the trial here and see if you dig it more than I did. But for true reality fans, I'd say check out a few of the better-rated reality networks where you'll get more bang (pun) for your buck.

Man, so much for the corporate backing keeping all these sites feeling the same. Things are a bit of a mess around here, so much so that we had to delay their initial followup just to get to the bottom of everything. Last time we were here, all sites had similar content and similar updates, but not so nowadays. Some sites have stopped updating back in 2004, while some still add new stuff today. Some have gone so far as to remove their free area (tour), though you can still get the content inside the member's area.
Overall, I still feel this network is lacking compared to most other reality networks. First, the quality hasn't improved at all, even on updates that just came out today. 320x240 and 500kbps just don't cut it anymore, and the lower quality is a glaring problem here for me. Second, with so many sites in non-updating form, it sure gives you less bang (pun again) for your buck than it did before. If there's any good news, it's that the price has gone from $40 a month to $30 a month which helps only a little. If you haven't seen these and absolutely must join, they're some of the better sites from this company. But in the end, it's just not worth it for my money.
