Shai West is a solo amateur girl with a mix of picture, video, and interaction content. The guest welcome page features a video collage that encapsulates what she’s all about. It has an aggressive soundtrack and a MTV style quick-hit scene snaps and from what I can tell that fits with Shai’s personality. Overall you can get a good feel for what type of content she features from the tour samples.
The Goods:
-Amateur Girl w/ Solo & Hardcore Shoots. The main content here is the photo and video sections and there are more picture galleries than videos. Still, there is some decent balance and she has a nice amount of movies available. The action covers a wide array of niches from solo softcore to toy play to full on hardcore. For a solo girl Shai does well to present a nice mix of stuff.
- High-Res Pics, Several Video Formats. The pictures initially open with a medium quality file and then clicking on that pic opens up a high-resolution image. It’s always a plus when individual amateurs go high-res so this is a notable positive. The videos can be streamed or downloaded in WMV, QT, and iPod formats. There is also Flash streaming plus a separate Flash Theater with some movies offered in higher quality Flash format.
- News Journal, Webcam Shows w/ Archives. These constitute the interaction portion of the site. The member’s home page has a News section which consists of paragraph long postings from Shai although the entries are not done actively enough to make it a fully functional journal/diary. The webcam shows are more impressive especially since she seems to do regular shows and has archived shows for streaming right on her site. Archives like this is something I love to see from amateurs since it really adds value and it’s great when they put these right on their site instead of just leaving everything to the 3rd party webcam network.
The Bads:
- No Update Log/Dates For Pics & Vids. As I mentioned in my good points Shai does have a News Journal with sporadic entries but beyond that there isn’t really any update specifics. Individual photo gallery and video entries have written summaries and tiles but no date details. The member’s home page has a section of “My Recent Updates” but again they lack individual dates.
- Could Use Further Bio & Personal Info. After watching her guest tour splash video I went looking for some sort of personal bio or resume that would tell me what Shai is all about. I was unable to locate such a thing and it’s not available in the member’s area either. Clearly she has personality that comes through on the site but I’d like to see some sort of summary of her background and experience in the adult biz.
Conclusion:
Shai’s site touches all the bases in terms of what a solo amateur site should offer. These components include pictures, videos, and member interaction. The best assets she has in place are the high quality pics, video formats, and webcam show archives. Where she could improve is by providing further update specifics so members know how the site is progressing. Also more personal details and a more active news journal would boost interaction since there are some lengthy gaps on that log.
