PROS:

 BOTTOM LINE:

"Shackled Maidens has original hi-res pics of shackled models but not much of a video section."
Shackled Maidens is what I call a micro-niche site. It fits into the bdsm and fetish niches but has a more targeted focus than either of those categories. Just as the title implies the specialty here is girls being restrained with shackles and various historical restrained devices.

The Goods:

- Stylish & High Res Pics. Besides focusing on the shackle niche these guys have photo shoots with some personality behind them coupled with hi-res picture quality. The mix of color along side black and white photography really makes the collection more interesting. From the first to the last gallery the picture quality is solid. Newer sets also have zip download files available.

- Exclusive Content. I'm always pleased to report on a fetish site with all original material. All of Shackled Maidens photo sets and videos are original.

- Sexy Models. This is a good foundation for a site to have. With high res pics it's great that the chicks are hot babes. In my opinion the models are attractive enough where a fan of general softcore might find the collection worth browsing.

The Bads:

- Small Number of Videos. This is mostly a picture site. Yes they do make movies too, I know this because there's a handful on the site. My opinion is they should bulk up this section asap. It would make the site that much more valuable. Currently they're on the pace of adding one video per month.

- Very Softcore Content. For folks into bdsm punishment this stuff probably won't reach a level of hardcore that you're used to. This is easily classifiable as softcore fetish content. All the shoots are solo, there's never anyone applying punishment or anything like that.

Conclusion:

Definitely the best thing Shackled Maidens has going for it is unique content. There are a lot of bdsm and fetish sites out there but this one has a special twist with the shackle focus. Hopefully when it's time for us to write a follow up there will be more videos for members.
