It's been a while since we've reviewed a personal's site. I'm usually annoyed by the lack of genuine people on them, but SexSearch.com says they have "millions of members looking for sex". They even offer video chat & other live cams, as well as a whole section dedicated to the swinger lifestyle. There are three basic membership levels to choose from: Basic, Silver, Gold. To get any kind of real information or sense of an experience for the site, you'll have to at least commit to a Silver Membership which recurs at $29.95 per month. That way you can at least view other member photos, contact people, use the advanced search feature, etc. A Gold membership costs $34.95 per month and, for the most part, just adds additional access to "The Gold Room" (hardcore porn).
The Good:
- Aside from a basic "search", members would get the most out of this site if they pay for a Silver Membership. According to the numbers count there are more than 227,823+ members online during this review. It's Tuesday at 1:20pm, and that just seems like an insane amount of people. During my visit I was bombarded with messages and invitations to chat, etc. As a member you are able to create a profile, upload pics & videos, browse & contact members, chat, and more.
- There are many user features such as multiple profiles, advanced profile searches (age, location, marital status, sexual preference, body type & specifics, etc.), hotlists, chat, videos, stories, advice, and more.
- Access to hardcore porn for Gold members ($34.95/mo). The Gold Room is an adult porn site with access to content from Karups Hometown Amateurs, For The Girls, plus lots of extras.
The Bad:
- It's hard to say for sure, but I'd be willing to be that (as with any personals site) there are a fair amount of fakes, especially when it comes to the females. I noticed quite a few "overly airbrushed", modelesque looking females with almost no profile and/or links to their website.
- Most members’ don't have very many (if any) pics or videos to check out. When they do they're not the quality content you would hope for.
- Lot's of ads and up sells. Even the Gold membership is an up sell, which really only gives access to a mix-mash of non-exclusive pics and videos with varying quality. The "live video" that is promised is even an up sell and redirects you to a completely other site.
- Too many pop-ups. I had my pop-up blocker working in full-force and even then I still managed to receive at least a handful of pop-ups during my visit.
The Conclusion:
There are so many ways to "hook-up" online these days, sites like MySpace & FaceBook might not allow nude material, but it's a start. As for the hot chicks looking to chat? Well I'd be willing to bet that most of them are either fakes or there to promote their website, which you could probably find easier by using our Search Feature, and save yourself a few bucks. Actually, you'd be saving more than a few bucks considering your lowest membership level is a pricy $29.95 per month. I guess this is why we don't review personal's site very often.
