Despite the name, all of the cuties on Seventeen Video are over 18 years old. But they sure got your attention with the title! Seventeen Video is a video site offering hundreds of hardcore European teen movies. With girls who actually look like they’re 18, lots of kinky action, and a sexy European twist, there’s no denying they have an entertaining collection to work with.
The Goods –
They’ve got a good sized collection of DVDs available. There are over 400 currently online from 47 different movie labels. There’s a nice mix of action and themes with something for everyone who enjoys teen hardcore.
I enjoyed the European teen videos. If it seems you’ve seen just about every American teen flick, you should like the new material here. I hadn’t heard of most of the movie labels that offer hundreds of titles that I hadn’t seen before. Though the content here is not original or exclusive, it was new to me.
The Bads –
This is a very expensive site. The monthly membership price is given in Euros and looks reasonable at $30 a month. However, once you calculate the exchange it works out to $40 US a month! That’s more than I like to pay for any site.
There aren’t nearly enough browse features. You can view the two most recent updates, browse by studio, and view the most popular videos. There is a keyword search box but no advanced search features. There are no categories, no pornstar listings, nothing.
Updates come just once a week. That’s ok for most sites, but for video sites like this where we’re talking about non-exclusive content (and a very high price), I’d expect to see much more frequent updates. Also, they don’t even post the dates on the content so I’m not even sure when exactly the last update took place.
The video quality and user options are pretty weak. The scenes are offered in short clips in two quality settings for Windows Media. There are no full-scene downloads, no streaming option, no choice of formats, and the high quality setting tops out at 900k. That looks pretty average. Newer videos are being offered at higher specs, but the vast majority look so-so. I’d expect more from a video site like this.
Conclusion –
As entertaining as these European teen movies are, the site itself just isn’t strong enough to justify the price. I’d like to see a more user-friendly set up, along with more frequent updates and higher quality content. As cute as their girls are, I’m afraid the price is too high considering the site’s limitations.
