Porn Sites are well known for their luring titles and tour promises. Seventeen Video's title is certainly eye grabbing since everyone knows 18 is the legal age for porn. Of course the bottom of the site clearly states that all models are over 18 at the time of shooting and they follow the 2257 rules for only using adults in producing their content. The title is eye catching and risqué though which I'm sure helps their sales.
The Goods:
- Hundreds of Vids, Sizable Collection. The content here is all videos and they offer up hundreds to members. The action includes boy/girl hardcore, solo masturbation, girl/girl, and groupsex. They have a mix of all those without any one specialty that stands out.
- Decent Variety of 'Teen' Sub-Niches. Considering the focus is on "teen" movies they do have quite a number of sub-categories in the way things are organized. Some such sections are amateurs, school girls, sporty, blondes, retro, Russian, and more.
- Euro Porn Focus is Interesting. This is a European company so the performers here aren't the same American girls that are found on so many sites. While the DVD titles might not be exclusive it is different simply because it's European porn.
The Bads:
- Average Vid Quality, Little File Info. For an all movies site and with the collection they have the video quality just isn't sharp enough. Also, they don't provide any info like file size or length on any of the download links. These issues did take away from my enjoyment of the movies.
- Slow Updates, Few Date Details. The member's main page has a few coming soon dates which shows they seem to add one new movie per week. For movie sites this pace should be more in the 5-7 movies weekly. A more detailed log and details for past updates would be nice too.
- High Cost Membership. These guys use Euros for their pricing so the 29.95/mo rate significantly more than that in US Dollars. The Dollar has been weak in relation to other currencies recently so that isn't helping either.
Conclusion:
No doubt there is a niche market out there looking for the European young adult DVD titles that these guys have put together. Considering the price though they really should bump up the video quality and updates since those are definitely negatives that are quite noticeable.
