Raise your hand if you like lesbian porn? Well, who doesn't? "Pretty girls kissing...and actually having sex with each other", that's what you'll get if you join Sapphic Erotica. According to the site, Sapphic comes from the word Sappho, which was a Grecian poetess from the Isle of Lesbos (6th century BC). You mean there was once a whole island of lesbians?:) Whoa! In re-creating this fantasy Isle of Lesbos, Bailey, the webmaster for the site, has managed to build a leading lesbian porn community that focuses on hot chicks exploring the soft touch of another hot chick.
So far only a third of the images are exclusive to the site, but that's still quite a large number seeng how there's currently over 33,000 pictures (as of this review, 9/22/03). The site updates on an every-other-day basis, with exclusive sets being marked as "exclusive", and the member's area begins with a brief overview, including a useful tips page, for the new member's who like to be informed. Think you already know it all? Then I suggest you go straight to the archive page. The site is fairly simply designed, but makes for a somewhat tricky time getting around. On the main archive page you will find a long list of text-linked categories. First is Section 1 - Section 7, these are the images in chronological order, with section 1 being the oldest. Next you have a Model Index (in alphabetical order), followed by a Plain Text Index, which covers all sections. Then there's the exclusive section, where you'll find only the exclusive sets on the site, and then the Videos only section link. Below that you have sections by type or category that they fall into, such as: Amateur, Asian, Indoors, Outdoors, Smoking, Three and More, etc. Lastly, you have a link to a few Low Quality picture sets (one's that didn't make the cut), followed by site extras (not lesbian photo sets). So there you have it, everything is broken down by however you little heart could desire to browse such a site, but the way it's done might make it seem a little confusing at first.
Exclusive pictures are all very large (683x1024 & 1200x800) and very nice quality, offering attractive young females in a range of erotic circumstances. The sets feature a lot of kissing, some toys, some good ol' tongue action, and a lot of hands on fun:). It's hard to think that one could even be disappointed with these pictures as the quality of girls and the quality of the pictures themselves is truly amazing. The newer exclusive videos all use DivX AVI, but are also available in MPEG format and are broken down into parts in an effort to make it quicker to download each segment. And they are well worth any wait, the quality is simply amazing, sharp, clear, and offers great sound. These girl's are truly beautiful and you are going to love watching them really go at it. You'll feel like you're getting an amazing voyeuristic view of some lesbian island (previously mentioned) and these girls have no idea you're there, just doing what they do naturally.
As for the non-exclusive images on the site, they are usually just as big as the exclusives ones, if not bigger sometimes, but don't always offer the same lesbian experience that the others do. As in, the models appear to be posing rather than enjoying themselves, making the lesbian love scene look more like a staged scene. I can't complain too much though, the quality is still there and though some of the models appear a bit older than the exclusive ones, they're still hot.
Overall, most of my attention would be kept to the exclusive photosets, but adding licensed content was a good way to push up those numbers and give you something to keep you busy while you await the next set of exclusive content. Even better are the videos, with there currently being over 70 (as of 9/22/03) of them, you'll have plenty of quality lesbian action to keep you busy. I highly recommend this site for all lesbian lovers alike. Images and movies are easily downloaded to your computer and the exclusive footage is raw, it's erotic, it's fun, and best of all, it's real.

Sapphic Erotica, round 2: Content has jumped from around 33,000 images to close to 50,000 in about 8 months and the amount of videos has almost doubled, very nice! The only disappointment that I can see from checking back in on this site here, if you can even call it one, is that there's been no upgrading to the rather tricky site design. Obviously it's still manageable, but with such a great product and the numbers growing daily, I'd like to see the packaging spruced up a bit. 3 new sections have been added, bring the total up from 7 to 10 and the image sets are offered as downloadable zip files either as a full series or by index page.
As of late, Bailey's been going back over the older videos and "re-doing them at 640x480", that's some awesome quality video downloads! They're so worth checking out too since, you'll remember if you read my initial review, the action here is so real it's like having your very own lesbian. Well okay, not really, but it is good!
Just as I wanted to see, new exclusive content is being updated as often as 7 times per week, along with the originals and other content as well. For a lesbian site, the quality of content and action here remains to be unmatched, it's good stuff!

An already attractive site made even more attractive; and no, I'm not just talking about the girls here either! It looks as though since our last follow-up here at Sapphic Erotica, there have been so major design changes to the site which make browsing the content super easy and quite enjoyable. Already one of the top sites out there, Sapphic Erotica now has an over the top member's area to go along with it! Sorting your content is even fun here, as there have been many features added to make things "your way" and you can even choose which pictures to put together in your very own personal zip file; this is one of the few sites with such advanced features and they certainly are appreciated. Of course, there's been quite a nice jump in the amount of content here as well, though; the only downside to the changes this time around is the jump in the price of admission which is up to $29.95 from $24.95. Stick around, though (and I know you will!), and the price drops to the old price, which is well worth it!

It's always such a treat to come back and revisit this one of a kind erotic lesbian site and just under a year later, Sapphic Erotica has a lot to be proud about. How's over 80,000+ super high quality images and about 300+ videos that now stream over 1064k and sometimes as high as 2000k! A concentration on adding more exclusive content has resulted in over 50% of the total number of images here being one-of-a-kind Sapphic's and I see that % increasing even more over the next few months+ as updates are now almost 90% exclusive. When it comes to great lesbian action, it truly doesn't get any better than this so if you haven't joined already, I implore you to please do so now. For a second there site no longer recurred at the reduced $24.95 price, which was a slight bummer, but now we've got an exclusive deal for our users, which is even better than what the cost of the site was before. Sapphic Erotica is now offering our users a reduced monthly price of $19.95 per month which is exquisite for all that's in store for you here.
