Well I don't know what the hell sapphic is, but I do know what erotica is and I'm looking forward to seeing some for sure. Thankfully for me, and the other non-English majors out there, they explain sapphic on their homepage. Although I'm not too sure you need an explanation after seeing their title, lol. Sapphic apparently = lesbians, nothing wrong with that!
Their homepage looks nice, with a pink background and pink hearts all over, reminding me of all the girly-girl lesbians I've met in my life. However, upon clicking some of the preview photos, you're taken to some text-only type pages that look much different. The only reason I mention this is because the member's area is also very much text-based, which is quite a bit different from the pretty, pink website you originally saw. It looks as though they may have paid for someone to make them that one page, and did the rest themselves. Not that it's a real big deal or anything, but I was a little surprised once inside.
The splash page of the member's area has a lot of words, most of which I made it through. Down at the bottom after scrolling a bit, you're presented with the latest updates. Unfortunately there were no dates on them :( He has a section for "new this week," but I wasn't around last week to know if they changed or not. It's only Monday right now, and there's already six galleries up in there. Below that there's the other "recent updates" which has a lot more listed, again without dates though.
Their photo galleries have 20 thumbs per page, and are usually pretty large ranging from 100-200 pictures each on average. Each page has its own zip file, which means that for each gallery there are about 5-10 zip files if you want the whole thing. The only navigation links to browse through the gallery are to get to the next and previous page, as well as the first and last of the gallery. That can lead to a lot of clicking in some of the larger galleries to find your way through.
Picture quality itself is usually pretty good, although it can vary depending on where they got their content. He does give you the image size before you even get to the gallery, so you can't complain! One thing that struck me as odd was that the tall and wide pictures were usually cropped to different sizes. The vertical ones were usually a big step down in image size for some reason, and I'm at a loss as to why that would be. Even their oldest galleries have around 800x600 images, but for most of them the norm is 1200x800 and 680x1024. The quality is usually pretty good, especially for not having their own photographer or whatever in-house. The pictures generally are large, and look pretty nice.
The videos usually have two download options, most of the time they are AVI's (DIVX) and MPG's. He recommends the AVI's as the quality is a little higher, but if you're not totally particular about it, the MPG's start playing much quicker (on my computer at least) as you don't have to wait for the huge file to download first. However when you compare the two side-by-side, you can definitely see a quality difference. Some of the older clips also have a Windows Media option which look pretty nice, but sound awful (real tin-canny to me if that makes sense).
You can tell they have a few content places they go back to now and again. Otherwise their stuff is bought from a variety of sources it seems. Next to some of the galleries and videos are the words exclusive, and original. I think the exclusive clips you can only find on his site alone, while the original ones he buys for himself and a few other sites (so they're not available to everyone, but are on 2-3 other sites perhaps). Overall there's quite a bit of stuff to look at, but not a lot of extras at all. They do offer up some great lesbian photos and videos, though, which is why you're joining in the first place. The only things I might want fixed would be the design and navigation a bit as it's tough to see everything they've got in there in a straightforward manner. I also don't know how often they update, although it seems like it's semi-often at least. But overall, I do like what I see.

Ahh, I thought they would have updated the damn design here since last time we saw them. Didn't they read our review?? :) Otherwise, the content is still lipstick-lesbian hot, which I don't mind at all. With all this time, there's been quite a bit more content added, which is great.
The new sets seem to have pics on the larger end, and even their video looks pretty good. I never wrote in my review what the size was, but there were some 640x480 clips up which look great.
Overall, I'll bump up the quantity score, and entertaining, but lower the curve.

Woohoo! There is a (lesbian) god! Check out the new digs in the Sapphic Erotica member's area - I like what I see. Gone are the awful text tables, and here to stay is a well-organized pussy-licking machine. Okay, it can't really lick any pussy, but the girls it's featuring can for sure.
We now have a model's index, a separate video section, an updates page (with dates, currently a new set every weekday), and a future updates page. Some of that may have been there before, but I wanted to reiterate. The site is obviously growing very nicely still, which brings the content count up a little bit.
Galleries now have either full gallery zip downloads, or make your own zip options. They also let you choose how many thumbs on a page you want displayed, which is great since I like as many as I can get. Pictures look as good as ever at 1200x800 for the ones I checked out. Videos look very good as well at 640x480 and 1.1mbps (1100kbps) in their Windows Media format, with the option of downloadable MPG clips as well.
I think this update shot Sapphic Erotica up to the top spot for lesbian sites without a doubt now. The content is great all around, and now the site is pretty decent as well. The price is slightly high, but for once I'm going to say it's well worth it. Definitely recommended for lesbian lovers (of all kinds).

Well, since they had quite a nice redesign here last time, things look much the same around here which is actually okay by me. Their great update schedule has allowed them to grow quite a bit, with mostly exclusive content these days to boot, and turned them into a lesbian powerhouse for sure. They're getting pretty damn large! As for actual changes, first off the price was up to $30 a month fixed which is a bit high, but they've hooked our readers up with an awesome discount of $20/mo. which is cheaper than before!! Videos also got an upgrade to 960x540 and 2000kbps, and they look really great. They didn't quite make our new hi-def category, which would have required specs of 1280x720 at a minimum, but they're still larger than most any other videos you'll see out there. They're also upgrading older videos into the new format, which will take some time I'm sure. This is the best lesbian site around without a doubt, and if you're into the genre at all and haven't been around in a little bit, I think it's definitely worth a look as things look great around here!
