Sapphic Erotica really surprised the hell out of me. Before doing this review, I'd never heard of it and didn't have any idea what to expect. Well now I'm impressed because this is a nice little lesbian site. For the most part it's not dolled up siliconed pornstars doing yet another monotonous girl/girl scene, but these are young, nubile, fresh faced babes going at. They're smiling, having a good time, and getting down and dirty with each other. You'll find lots of kissing, rubbing, licking, and toy play.
The over 33,000 pictures are very easy on the eye. There's no wavering here, every photo gallery is dedicated solely to a couple of chicks having sex. What makes things enjoyable is the consistent level of quality found in nearly every picture. These are large sized pics (around 600x1000) that are crisp and sharp. Some galleries are content that original to Sapphic and other stuff is leased and not exclusive. It doesn't really matter though, the high quality is found throughout all the sets.
The video quality equals that of the pictures. Most stream in Mpeg or Divx Avi formats and are crystal clear. You'll easily be able to watch these in full screen. It's hot stuff too, including girl/girl and group sex lesbian scenes. Truthfully these are hot scenes and one of the reasons I was very impressed with the site was the videos. Even though the total number of vids is only 73, the fact that they're all hardcore and look great makes up for the relatively small number.
Now that I've raved about the content let me say that Bailey, the site webmaster, could improve the design of the members area. Right now it's not organized well at all and it's tough to move from section to section. There's not even any graphics, it's just text. It's a shame too, because a sharp members section should highlight exactly what's available. Instead it takes some time to figure out what what you paid for and how to get at it. I'm not even sure how often she's updating, although it seems like new stuff is showing up at least every week.

The first time I saw this site I really liked it. I'm willing to go even further now and say for lesbian fans Sapphic is a must-see. Even with its glaring design flaws, the content is just too entertaining to ignore. It looks like they've come close to doubling the number of videos (now 132+, was 73+). The photos now total somewhere around 48,000 (you can grab these as zip files if you like). More than the amount of content, it's really the type of content that I'm high on. These cute young girls are just way more fun to watch than big name pornstars.
Other than increasing the amount of content, it doesn't seem like anything has changed. I still say a complete member's are overhaul is in order. To tell you the truth I find it almost unbearable to navigate the site unless I use the basic Model Index or Text Only pages. The one redeeming quality about the bad design is it that it doesn't really matter where you click; odds are you'll end up being confronted with pics or videos of hot chicks going at it.

Sapphic Erotica looks like a completely different site. They've always had great girl/girl content, now they have a brand spanking new members area complete with navigation tools and everything. The old basic text site is finally gone! Content is broken down into new additions, photo index, video index, and a model directory. The model directory is where it's at. Besides allowing you to browse by girl, you can filter to find girls with exclusive/original content, videos, or photo sets. Also, a future updates calendar highlights what new additions will be made during the upcoming month. The bottom line is they've done a great job with their design overhaul.
Baily, the owner, has himself a small diary section to post info and important changes. He's posted to it a handful of times now and hopefully this will continue. New content additions have continued and the video count is up over 192. With its improved look Sapphic has solidified itself as one of my favorite lesbian sites.

This is our fourth look at Sapphic Erotica and things are cruising right along. Last follow-up I noted some important improvements in design, this time there aren't any drastic changes to report on. The number of videos continues to impress. In the past two years the site has gone from picture heavy to having a video section that can stand all on its own. Of course the massive picture database is still in place but the steady increase of awesome girl/girl videos really tells me what a top-level site this is. In checking the video quality again I am loving the crystal clear full-length WMV files. Word from the Sapphic folks is that they're also working through their archive to update older vids to the higher quality too. All in all Sapphic stays at the top of my list for the lesbian category and one of my favorite sites, period.
