Rodney Moore's Megasite looks like an amateur lover’s dream. The flashy text in the tour promises "over 1100 Rodney Blast Survivors and Counting". You see, this is a facials and cumshots site, and $24.95 per month gives access to more than 700+ videos and 50,000+ pics with updates coming in 3 times weekly. From the looks of the tour I wasn't expecting much from the design of the member's area, so it wasn't a big surprise to see all text links and an amateur design. This is a large amount of amateur content, though, and a real feast for the eyes if you're into hardcore blowjobs & facials.
The Good:
- A large variety of amateur content featuring facials, cumshots, girls who swallow, "back room movies", hairy chicks, MILFs, tits & ass, cum swapping and more. I can't tell if this content is exclusive to this site in particular (these are marketed DVD's after all), but the member's area certainly doesn't lack character and it will keep most users busy for quite some time.
- New updates are consistently added 3 times per week (Monday's, Wednesdays & Fridays). Rodney breaks down his content into separate "sites", or categories, and so new features are always being added to one or more of them: HornyHairyGirls.com, Rodney's Visions, Backroom Movies, TopHeavyTarts.com, MILF & Honey, ScaleBustinBabes.com, Monster Facials, etc.
- Content is broken down into categories (or separate "sites"). There is also a model index, updates page, and even a guide to help members along. The design is very amateur in style, but at least they have created many options for browsing around.
- Some WMV video streams are offered with bitrates as high as 1400k. I certainly wouldn't call them the "norm" for this site, but when you run across one, they do look pretty nice.
The Bad:
- Dated site design, navigation, user/viewing options, etc. Even with the added browse options/categories that have been created for this mish-mash of content, there is nothing clean & easy about this site. Users will likely get lost in the mix, frustrated and even disappointed at times.
- Content quality is average and mostly below average throughout. There isn't any consistency either, even when it comes to the newer updates, which I don't understand.
- Videos cannot be downloaded? This site is stream-only and users are coerced to buy the actual DVD's with up sell ads. I did read a page on "how to save the QuickTime Movies", which requires the purchase of QuickTime Pro, so maybe there is a way? I did find some zip files offered for image sets, but it's not consistent throughout.
- Limited model & content information & inconsistent diary updates from Rodney.
The Conclusion:
To be perfectly honest, this probably wouldn't be my site of choice for amateur or DVD content. It's not even the poor site design that has me turned off, it's the lack of & inconsistency of quality. Clearly there is a lot of content to look through, but the 3x weekly updates is about the only thing that is consistent here. Fans of Rodney's content might want to take a look, but this probably isn't a site that will last very long in my memory. Although, it could take something as little as a $5 dollar price-cut to change my mind?
