I'm not really sure how people get into being spanked as a fetish. All it does for me is bring back memories of being a bad kid and getting punished by my parents. That is anything but erotic to me. Still, some people love getting spanked I guess (or is it the pain, or humiliation - who knows?), and that's why we have sites like Real Spankings around. The site appears to have been around for a while, with videos dating back to 1997 and photosets going back to 2001. I think they designed the site back then and have never updated it because it looks pretty bad.
After you spend your hard-earned $21, you get access to basically a large text list of the content they offer up - which is divided up by year, sort of. The recent updates list looks good, with something new coming every 2-3 days for the last two weeks at least. To actually find a gallery you might be interested, you're stuck with the short text title they give (unless you happen to know the model names already I guess).
Most of the sets seem to feature both photos and videos, although there are exceptions to this of course. Unfortunately they don't really give you any info on the shoot, which is what I was hoping to see on that initial gallery page. They do have some outgoing links there to toplists and other sites of theirs though.
Their content here is non-exclusive, they say so themselves at the top of the member's splash page while warning people not to steal the images. So the quality can vary a bit, but overall the pictures are on the amateur side and small side of life. At 750x500, they could really use some growth to catch up with the norm these days. Even their oldest galleries from 2001 are the same size, which would tell me it's definitely time for an upgrade. There's lots of good spanking here, but nothing too exciting as far as browsing the site goes.
Videos seem to come in two quality options, but they're both Real Video unfortunately (which isn't one of my preferred video formats, mostly because their player isn't very good in my opinion). Quality is good/average at 320x240 and 450kbps on the broadband versions (of the newer videos). There were some slight picture quality issues, but the spanking point got across quite nicely. Don't expect much else other than spanking here, as sometimes even nudity is a bit hard to come by. Clips/scenes are usually on the short end, with some kind of story leading into a good beating which is what you're probably here to see.
The site overall is just in need of a major upgrade. Design and navigation are quite crude here, and that's what could use the most help. The content is decent for what it is, though some improvements are in order sometime there too. The update schedule is good thankfully, which should help keep the site growing. Another bonus I'd like to see added would be some text descriptions of the scenes to know the story behind it all before checking the content out. I think the site is decent for those who love this stuff, only because they have an okay amount of content all within the niche. As far as sites go, it's on the lower end of the scale by today's standards. Since the site is obviously still active, hopefully they'll turn to a site update sometime soon which would help tremendously.
