Ouch! Real Spankings is one of those sites that might have you shifting uncomfortably in your seat as you view these lily white derrieres getting beaten and pounded until they're red, bleeding, and bruised. Apparently these girls have been very very naughty!
The site design leaves much to be desired. There are very few graphics to be found on this almost entirely text-based website. Now I'm not completely against text. Simple can be good. In this case, though, it just feels unprofessional. Much of the blame for that is to be placed on the colors. We're talking bright red and yellow boxes with small blue text. It's very hard to read and that red might just give you a migraine in the process. But this is a site about pain so maybe that's what they're going for! Anyhow, the galleries are arranged chronologically with text links. Thumbnails would be a wise addition, as would categories. My other little complaint in this area of the site is the many outside links. Each gallery page has links to toplists, directories, and pay-per-vid sites. They're not too intrusive but personally I think paying members should be free from ads like this. There's a lot of room for improvement in the design and navigation of this site.
I counted 212 gallery and video sets with a new set added every two days. This would mean they have roughly 16,000 pictures, a good sized collection considering that it's all exclusive and all very painful looking. Picture and video quality are both very nice. The images are pretty standard in size at 500x750 but they're all very sharp and well-lit. They look much better than what you'll find on most amateur fetish websites. The same can be said for the videos. They're offered in two speeds, 224k and 450k, and can be downloaded in Real Player. I was quite impressed with the quality of the movies. Though they still look homemade, they don't fall prey to the two killers of quality amateur flicks, bad lighting and jerky camera motion. I found myself wanting to see more video and was a little disppointed to learn that members have to pay extra to view their really high quality films ($10 per movie!). I suppose it's nice to have it as an option, but dang that's expensive!
The scenes were precisely what I'd expect from a spanking site. Our cute teen has done wrong and needs to be punished. Though Real Spankings isn't quite my cup of tea, I can definitely appreciate the positive features of the site, namely, the exclusive good quality extreme niche pictures and videos. Three updates a week for $22 a month is also a very nice deal. My main complaints were really more about how the site is setup than the actual content. I'd love to see the design and navigation cleaned up so I can give the site more credit. This one definitely isn't for everyone, but bdsm fans who can overlook the design might be very impressed with this painfully real looking content.
