Rageroo-Celeb-Movies.com is home to more than 20,800+ movie clips with more than 3,900+ celebrities to browse through. Multiple video clips are added daily and you'll find many of your classic, young and destructive celebs here like: Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, as well as many others from old classics to young and new. The price of admission is somewhat high, I think. $25 bucks per month gives you access to the entire archive of video content, but beware of daily download limits and the inability to use download managers. In the end though, there is a lot to see here.
The Good:
- More than 20,800+ video clips of all your favorite celebs as well as many that I'm sure you didn't even know were your favorite yet. There's no doubting that this is a super-large archive of short video clip content (10 seconds to 3 mins each) and with many more clips being added daily you'll never be at a loss for new material.
- Rageroo updates its archive with movie clips that play as large as 720x400 in size. Although there is still some range in the overall quality of the content, many clips looked really nice.
The Bad:
- All clips are AVI files which means you have to wait for a complete download before viewing. Rageroo also doesn't allow download accelerators to be used and there is a daily download limit of 3.5GB.
- Considering this is all non-exclusive content that you might even be able to find for free somewhere online, the $25 per month price tag seems a little high. I wouldn't be complaining so much if the site design, set-up and features matched that with a plethora of options, but as it stands the design is very generic and only allows you to browse celebs by first name or movie title. A quick search feature is offered, however.
- Content descriptions are minimal and there are no celeb bios offered either. At the very least it would have been nice to have had preview thumb images offered for the celebrities.
- I didn't notice any of the big-time celebrity scandal video content like Pamela Anderson's video with Tommy Lee, the Paris Hilton sex tapes, etc.
The Conclusion:
Overall I wasn't too impressed with the Rageroo-Celeb-Movie offerings. To be honest, I didn't expect much from the raw & basic site design, but felt like the site even further failed to deliver on content/celeb bio information, navigational & download features, etc. Granted there is a lot to see, but I can think of a number of other celeb sites out there that execute this exact same content better than what's been offered here. They do have the quality down pretty nice though, I'll give them that.
