If you're into celebrity content, you should be pleased with our review today of Rageroo Celeb Movies. Don't ask me what the hell a Rageroo is, instead you should just accept the title as fact and move on like I have. They have an extremely simple design that is the same in the member's area, so you can get used to that as well. The good news is that you can browse through their site as a guest and get a good idea of what you'll get for your membership. Speaking of memberships, $25 will get you one here at Rageroo.
The goods:
- Large daily updates. They list their update schedule for each day in the last month, and most all of them have about 15 new videos or so that were added. Maybe it's because they need to fill out their collection still, but that update schedule is impressive at least.
- Videos can look good. They vary of course from one scene to the next, and how old the movie is too, but they do the best they can with what they have. Most are in the 720x480 range and look as good as any celeb videos do.
- Tons of content up. As with most similar sites, there's just a lot to see here. Granted you may not know 90% of the people up here, but our last count put them at almost 21,000 videos which is definitely good enough for me.
The bads:
- No info/extras here. You kinda miss out on learning more about the model and stuff, and videos only come in one format as well. These little extras aren't deal breakers, but in a tight race with other similar sites, they can shift the momentum.
- Site is very plain. Again it's one of those things that isn't a huge problem, but when competition is stiff, the little things may make a difference. The site could use a refresher, even if they want to keep it simple and light, it could look a little better.
Conclusion:
As far as celeb sites go, this one is as good as most I'd say. There's a lot to see, they update often, and the content look good. By the same token, there's nothing that really stands out here as refreshing either. So put it on your list of sites to check out, but it could go either way depending on what you're looking for.
