Are you a gay male looking for a career in porn? Well these boys are - QSolo.com is "where gay porn stars start their career..." with more than 44+ photo & video episodes to choose from, Q Solo offers a easy to use and interactive site that is updated weekly. $29.95 per month gets you access to their exclusive content, which is definitely something unique and entertaining, but I was a little concerned about the actual updates page, which really only shows new content coming in about once or twice a month.
The Good:
- Exclusive solo content with super nice photography and interesting shots/locations with the use of toys, dildos and more. New boys are added about once or twice per month, which is certainly not the amount that I'd like to see and overall explains the smallish archive, but each model does come with a set of nice-looking images and a lengthy video.
- Quality looks good overall. I love the color and the quality of the images, although I would like to see them larger in size. Videos also look good, and many use DivX, which might take some time to fully download but are worth it in the end.
- Videos are broken down into smaller clips or can be played in full, both in high and low quality formats.
The Bad:
- Aside from the promised weekly updates in the tour, Q Solo really only updates up to 2 times per month, and some months not even that much. I'd really like to see them step things up a bit here, and at the very least offer what is promised.
- And while AVI files look great, they can be bothersome to download. High quality WMV streams would be a nice addition to the video content. There is also no option for a zip file download for the images.
- Image size could be larger, too. Although very nice quality, currently images are only 512x768 pixels or 1024x576 pixels in size.
The Conclusion:
For almost $30 bucks a month, only having access to 44+ shoots & videos is rather expensive and I'm not sure it's worth it at this point. Updates are coming in slowly and QSolo is almost too simple of a site to really stand behind at this point. I like the exclusive, colorful gay masturbation/toy/insertion content, but I'd also like to see more info about the models added, larger image sizes, WMV quality streams, less wait in between updates, and an overall lower price point. QSolo has a great idea for a site going, I just don't think the overall implementation was successful compared to the cost, which is a shame too because the content is great.

It's been about a year since our last look inside the Q Solo member's area and I think I was hoping for a pace increase for updates. Alas it doesn't look as though that will happen. They're still on track for about 2 updates per month, bringing the total of shoots up to 63+ but it doesn't look like much else has changed. I'd still like to see larger image sizes added, as well as more browse/viewing options. I like the original content Q Solo offers, but wish they'd either lower their price tag or be more consistent with more updates per month.
