This is a nice simple movie site without the crap, plug-ins, or filler content. It's a very cool collection of DVD movies presented in a clean and professional format. I'm always excited when I find broadband movie sites like this one where they don't promise thousands of movies and then rely on the same old purchased video feeds that every paysite seems to offer. While Qmov.com doesn't produce any original content, the movie titles they've chosen to offer are fresh and full of young hot chicks in all kinds of hardcore action. Yeah, you might have seen some of these chicks on other sites, but I still like what I saw.
The categories of movies are: Anal, Asian, Blowjob/Cumshot, Interracial, Pornstar, Teen, and Assorted. All the categories have a good number of movies with the Pornstar section having the fewest with 6. Teen has the most with 39 titles. Good thinking on their part, I know Teen was the first section I went to! Remember, each one of the videos has 5+ scenes and each scene is practically a separate movie onto itself. If you apply this to the total number of 80 movies, that means there's over 400 scenes. Something I noticed is that most of the scenes seem to start and end the same way. Usually it starts with a short intro interview with the girl and ends with a facial cumshot. I only noticed a few scenes that didn't have at least one facial.
The video quality is as good as it gets. These truely are DVD movies. Right now you can only watch them in Windows Media Player. Even though there's only this one option, there are numerous choices from there. Each movie can be streamed both in-browser or in a standard sized player. There's three file choices for each clip, small, medium, and large. Even the small and medium are nice quality and the high speed is just outstanding. Also, each scene's clips can be downloaded and saved directly to your computer. Basically these guys let you watch the vids any way you like so long as you've got the right player.
From what I can tell right now (Oct 1, 2003) they just increased their updates so now a new scene is added every day. I don't really know what it was before, but one a day is about all you can ask for. There's even a page that lays out the last 20 updates. They're also giving members a free DVD from their adult store. Promoting their store is the only additional product they try to sell to their members. Fortunately it's not really in your face, so I guess I can live with that advertisement. The one real annyance is the price. I understand that if they had a trial people could go in and download everything and then cancel. However, without a trial, the $29.95/mo is a bit high. They really should lower that down to $25 or less.

Qmov still looks the same now as it did during the initial review. The biggest changes are simply the addition of more movies and some new bonus content. The total number of movies is now 194 which makes for over 900 scenes. The quality is still good and MPEG remains the single available format, all clips can still be streamed or downloaded. I should point out the buffering was very annoying as I tried to watch the vids. It got really frustrating, especially on the best quality clips.
Even though Qmov is still has lots of hardcore movies, my original review was too over enthusiastic about the site. It definitely doesn't spend enough time highlighting the negatives, the biggest of which is the non-originality of the movies. There's a very, very good chance you've seen a ton (or all) of these scenes on other sites. These Redlight District movies are just all over the place. Don't get my wrong, it is very fun porn but the reason why it's a negative here is that similar sites have the very same movies for much cheaper than the $29.95/mo these guys charge.

Qmov has seen some changes since the last time TBP took a look which was several years back. The most important item of note is that they stopped updating as of mid-2008 so it appears the collection is just going to stay online as is. While they were still growing they upgraded the video options a couple different times along the way so there are three distinct sets of options throughout the collection. The newer movies have in-browser Flash along with full-scene WMV files and clip segments. The middle-aged movies have downloads in two segments along with in-browser WMV streams. The oldest entries have many clip segments per video. They don’t provide detailed info about the scenes which is unusual for a movie site like this. Basically it’s still a straightforward collection of hardcore video scenes geared towards a general audience.
