Pure Beauty - the "World's Leading Glamour Magazine" - "where the body says what word's cannot". A somewhat new site to the Internet at this point (April 2005), Pure Beauty Magazine currently houses about 20+ video shoots and over 10,000+ beautiful images. This is a very exciting site for me because it masters what a lot of erotica sites that we've been looking at lately simple cannot, and that is the true art of photography. Sure anyone can get behind a camera, turn it sideways and click away at over 100+ digital images and call it "art", but very few of these people really have the background in photography, the skills with different lighting, lenses and etc. to back it up. Not to say that there isn't a place for those sites here on the Internet too or even that what they are creating isn't "art" in some form, I just get excited when I find one that, to me, is worth getting excited about. $24.95 per month gets you access to all of the content here as well as articles and interviews, tributes, forums and more.
Daily updates keep the #'s growing fast and the content is listed in a magazine cover fashion by date (by year, then month, etc.). You have many different size viewing options for the images: 600, 1000, 1800, 2560 and just as many options for zip file download. I love the content here; nothing gets tiresome as it's all unique, beautifully shot with many subtle plays on light, shadows, body angles and curves, close-ups, gorgeous settings, and more. The girls are all very natural and gorgeous. Many different body types are found here: curvy, skinny, tall, small boobs, big boobs, etc. - no two girls are alike. Some of these photo shoots look to be straight out of fairytales and exotic fantasies, all with a touch of elegance and beauty stemming not only from the backdrops, but the lovely and often shapely body's that are displayed here as well.
When it comes to the videos at these kinds of sites, you never really know what to expect. I mean, everything here is so very softcore and based on artistic quality still shots of the female form in it's "fantasy" environment, that you wonder how they can bring that same quality into action on film. Well, when it comes to actual quality, the videos here are top notch streaming over 1200k including options for both high and low bandwidth. Instead of being "performance" based videos with the girls rubbing themselves and etc., these are a behind the scenes look at what it takes to shoot one of these sets. Most of these videos are very short, about 2 minutes in length and I found them to be very cool in terms of seeing what goes on behind the scenes from a different perspective; from the make-up application to lighting, set-up, modeling and more. It's clear that there's a tremendous amount of work put in to each and every set that you see here and the quality of the end result is stunning - even in the videos!
There's plenty more to be checked out here, which is clear from the somewhat cluttered looking, yet highly informative site design. Not only are you given a taste of World News but Culture News, Foreign Exchange Rates, and Pure Beauty's very own news as well. There is quite a large team of people behind this site, including editors, designers, and even musicians. It's clear the Pure Beauty goes the extra mile when it comes to producing quality content and a quality site. I wasn't put off by the somewhat cluttered looking design because in reality it's clear that there was a lot of thought placed behind the design here and there's just a ton to keep you entertained, active and informed. The only thing missing for me here was a true and actual model index, where you can see all the girls listed along with a preview image and find more information about them, as well as link to their content. Overall, Pure Beauty was like a breath of fresh air for this porn review hound who sits looking at the same types of sites day in and day out just waiting for something like this to come along and restore faith in all things adult with member's areas. This is not a "porn" site per say, you'll find no triple ripple butt plugs here or even something resembling one, but more of an artistic nude site with a lot of interesting and beautiful material.
