Pure Beauty Magazine is "a celebration of the female body." With pictures by "master photographer" Adolf Zika, Pure Beauty welcomes visitors to "the beginning of a new era in erotic art." The site is straight out of the Czech Republic and features beautiful softcore photos of beautiful European models. There is an emphasis on the natural here, with no fake breasts and no airbrushing. These women are every bit as gorgeous in person as they are on screen.
Logging in, I was surprised by how much was going on. There are chronological gallery links, world and site news, a search box, links to the site's non-photo sections, along with the coverpage of the latest update. There are also some cool features like a second by second countdown to the next update, a link to the "Pure Music" station which plays music composed especially for Pure Beauty, and a little chart of all the countries from which Pure Beauty has members. That, combined with the list of today's exchange rate and the current times from around the world, contributes to the global feel of the site. I like it. There's a lot of personality here. Even the little extras like Zika's online photo school, the interviews, and tribute lend character to the site. You get the impression that the man really cares about the website and making it personal.
Inside you'll find 369 galleries with a new one added daily. That's over 10,000 high quality exclusive images. And they are very high quality, at that. Each gallery is offered in four image sizes with each size available in a zip file for downloading. The sizes range from 600x450 to 2560x1920! These pictures are absolutely huge, not to mention gorgeous. They're perfectly sharp and everything you would hope for from a professional photographer. Was I impressed? Most definitely.
Not only are they technically attractive but they're aesthically beautiful, as well. What really separates Pure Beauty Magazine from so many other artistic nude sites is that the content here is actually interesting. Though many of the scenes do look to be shot in studios, just as many take place in locales like exotic beaches, gardens, or even farms. The emphasis is clearly on the natural. Rather than relying on pounds of makeup and lacy lingerie, Zika lets the beauty of his model and the play of light and shadow speak for itself. It may all be softcore, but in no way is it repetitious.
There's also a small film section. Currently there are only 21 videos with only two more added each month. The videos are offered in high and low quality as XviD, Windows Media, and Quicktime files. Downloading these great looking videos took a little while, especially considering the movies are rather short, but it's time well spent. The bitrates of the movies are most impressive, with the Quicktime vids at 1600k, wmvs playing at up to 3450k and the XviDs at up to 3000k. The XviDs look especially fantastic. I highly recommend going this route. It's worth noting that the videos are actually more of behind-the-scenes type footage of the shoots than actual scenes themselves. They're quite interesting, nonetheless.
Pure Beauty Magazine is site well worth a look for lovers of artistic nude photography. With a good sized collection of very high quality content, daily updates, and enough personality to keep you interested after you've browsed today's set, the site is a good value at $25 a month. This is an all around quality site that I greatly enjoyed.
