Pornstar Solos is part of The Hardcore Network which features a blend of solo model sites and niche sites such as Pornstar Solos. Just as the title suggests the action here is dedicated to porn chicks in solo masturbation performances. Both fingers and toys are put to use throughout the shoots and the girls are used to performing for the camera.
The Goods:
- Solo Masturbation/Toy Vid Episodes. As a niche site among a larger network there is a decent number of episodes in the collection. The videos are clearly the focus although there are picture galleries as secondary material. The girls themselves are a mix of those who are familiar to me and others that I don't recognize. Sometimes they post full names and other times just the girl's first name.
- Nice Video Quality, Three Levels. The video quality is a positive here and they're offered in WMV format. Each is in a full-movie file in three quality choices: Best, Good, and Fast Download. It appears most files are around 150-200 MB in size for the Best level and saved fairly quickly for me on my high speed cable connection.
- Network Access, Some Unique Sites. The network is something you'll want to look at when touring Pornstar Solos. The Hardcore Network is a pretty unique collection of sites with the solo girls and some unusual niches like Ass Smoothie (really freaky) and Golden Hardcore.
The Bads:
- Little Shoot, Model, & Update Info. Specifics are hard to come by when it comes to the movies and site updates. As I mentioned earlier they often only post the model first name and then a short written shoot summary. Considering this is a pornstar focused site in addition to masturbation some more details would help. The update log shows just the three most recent additions
- No Vid Spec or Length Info Posted. The video files are also an area where they don't help out users with specifics. The vids simply have links to the files that start the download. Beyond that they don't have any file size facts or length info. On the vid section they also only have one preview pic per movie.
- High Monthly Price. At $34.95/mo this is on the high end of paysite rates. Granted it's best to look at the network as a whole since that totality of that is what they're selling. Still the price is about 5 bucks higher than most competing networks out there.
Conclusion:
Pornstar Solos does follow through on its stated niche with a decent sized collection of individual porn chicks in masturbation/toy videos. The video quality what jumps out at me as the most important asset they have. The negatives here are mostly data, fact, and info specifics that they've overlooked. What's funny is the network hub is pretty informative with data about how much content each site has but the shoot/model/vid info on the Pornstar Solo videos is sparse.

Pornstar Solos continues to be one of the sites in The Hardcore Network and the fundamentals here have held steady. They’ve been updating at a pace of one video per week as each shoot is now clearly stamped with the date added info. Pornstar models in solo masturbation/toy scenes continues to be featured in each episode and the high quality WMV movies are still a key feature. While the update info is more detailed the movies (still available in three quality levels) don’t have file size, length, or pic details shown which are things that would be helpful. With around a hundred total shoots this is a nice sized collection of solo masturbation content and the included network is still a big part of the equation as well.
Score increased from 76.5 to 78.0.
