Intro

Pornstar Platinum is a network of individual pornstars with photo and video collection for each along with some interaction features. Models include Yuri Love, Ava Devine, Rachel Love, and others. Action includes a mix of solo, girl/girl, and hardcore boy/girl with BJ and banging. Each model has her own dedicated site and then there is also a network hub site which is a compilation of them all and also shows the network updates.

The Pros

Network of Individual Pornstars, Solo/Lesbian/Hardcore Content.

What distinguishes this network from a lot of the others out there is that it is solely dedicated to individual pornstars. There are just under a dozen in all with each girl having a dedicated site and collection of both downloadable videos and photo galleries. The action covers solo softcore, masturbation, and toy play along with girl/girl lesbian sex, and girl/guy hardcore. The majority of the content is solo and lesbian but there's a decent amount of girl/guy to be found and most of the models have at least some of that.

Full-Scene WMV/QT Downloads, Some HD, Flash Streaming.

For the most part the movie are consistent with full-video WMV, QT, MPG downloads and Flash streaming. The WMV and QT are often at HD level with specs at 3100k 1280x720. For a network like this with the different models and sites they have done pretty well to have that HD level available and keep the basic options in place on many of the videos. Photo sets have images that can be viewed online with nice quality pics around 1600x1060 and zips are also an option on all the galleries.

Other Good Stuff:

The member's area layout includes a Pornstar Platinum hub with a compilation of all the content plus individual sites are available for each of the stars.
The do add one new content items everyday and much of the content is date-stamped. A nework wide-log of updates is available on the network hub.
There is some interaction content with blogs and Twitter by from the girls and some webcam show content however the cam details aren't that clear as the calendar of shows takes you to a 3rd party URL.

The Cons

Average Sized Network, Some Small and/or Non-Updating Sites.

Things can be hit-and-miss depending on which star's site you're looking at when it comes to how much content is available. A few of the sites don't have not have girl/guy hardcore while others aren't updating any longer. Some models have the blog and Twitter interaction while others do not. In these ways the network is a bit of a mixed bag and individually the sites are small with the entire network totals being in the few hundreds for photo galleries and videos.

No Video File Size or Spec Info Provided, Quality/Formats Can Vary.

Essentially users are in the dark on the video files. They have the different formats for downloading the full-videos however no spec info or file size details are provided. This would have been helpful since some of the movies are at the high-def level while others aren't. Format options can vary a bit from video to video with not all formats available for each.

Minor Negatives:

When opening and individual video page the Flash streaming always starts to play. Having to stop it each time is a bit annoying when all you're looking for is the download link.
The design uses a pretty basic script. The niche browsing has way too many niche categories many of which aren't applicable or bring up no results even when searching the entire network.
There aren't any biographies or resumes for the girls which is surprising since it's a collection of indvidual pornstar sites.

Bottom Line

This network features all indvidual pornstar sites with a mix of solo & hardcore content.

Having this network for these sites makes sense because individually most of these models has small to average sized collections but packaged together members here get hundreds of galleries and video scenes. There is a bit of interaction too from some of the models which helps too as do the HD videos on some of the shoots. Still depending on which site you're looking at the updates, amount of content and interaction do vary so there are some sites that pull more weight in the network that others.
