Pornstar IQ is part of The Hardcore Network which is known for having some unique site concepts. This pornstar trivia quiz thing here fits right in with what these guys like to do. The foundation of the network is hardcore action with specialty sites, niches, and solo girls but something like Pornstar IQ is right up their alley. The trailers on the tour will give you a nice idea about what the shoots are like so you'll want to be sure to review those.
The Goods:
- Exclusive & Unique Trivia Shoots. Indeed Pornstar IQ has a collection of original video episodes where the cameraman asks pornstar girls a series of 20 trivia questions. The entertainment value comes from the hilarity of their answers, shock when they actually get one right, and the stripping they do throughout the course of the video. They keep track of the girl's score in the upper right corner of the screen and give a nice buzzer "X" when they're wrong. They've done a pretty nice job with the concept with the sound effects and cheesy buffer music.
- High-Res Full-Video Download Files. The movies are in WMV full-episode files with three quality levels. The highest level are impressive quality which is something this company does with all their sites. The newest additions have in-browser streaming Flash in addition to the WMV downloads.
- Network Access, Other Creative Sites. The Hardcore Network has a number of other specialty sites like Swirlie Girls and Ass Smoothie. They also have solo girl sites along with niche collection some of which have original content while others have non-exclusive stuff. Upon logging in toe Pornstar IQ members are directed to the hub page so it is an integral part of the set-up.
The Bads:
- Novelty Style Material, No Hardcore. One of the questions I had going in was whether or not they would incorporate hardcore into the shoots. They don't do that and stick to the trivia questions with softcore stripping. The concept does have a bit of a novelty aspect and since they are a network with boy/girl and girl/girl there are ways they could ratchet up things by having the chicks do hardcore in addition to the trivia perhaps based on how they score.
- Not a Lot of Shoots, Slowish Updates. This is a newer site so the number of total shoots is on the small side. The updates here are going at a once episode every ten days pace. They actually don't date stamp the individual shoots but only provide a short log of the three most recent additions.
- No Vid File Size or Length Info Shown. The info provided for each shoot is only the model name and a few biographical tidbits like age, years in porn, and education background. They're not big on providing content data like the shoot length or movie file sizes and those items are not available.
Conclusion:
Specialty sites like this are always interesting to review because they're things that we don't get to see very often. Pornstar IQ does a nice job executing the theme and having a good time with these porn chicks. Though flummoxed by a number of questions the girls seem to enjoy participating too. The video quality is a key selling point as is the included network. Whether or not trivia shoots like this will interest you is totally subjective but I give this company high marks for trying something different.
