Intro

Porn for the People is up for review today, and I don't know if it's for the people as much as it's of the people. It's a collection of real amateur content (mostly photos) that generally feature solo girls, either dressed or nude. I don't know where the content comes from, whether they shoot it or find it, but it feels almost like a user-submitted content site, even though I don't think that's the case at all. There are some videos available, though they're definitely not the focus here. $25 a month gets in the door, which drops down to $22 a month when you rebill.

The Pros

Lots of photos up.

I'm not sure how exact our content counts are, but we put them at 67,000 photos currently, which is quite a bit of content. They have a lot of galleries, though some of them are on the small side. Content goes back to the 90's, which is an impressive length of time.

Seems to update regularly.

They don't date any of the content per se, but they do break it down by month, so you can get an idea of what's new. So far in December, they've added five photo galleries in 11 days. Hopefully the updates continue as they have for the past 10 years.

The Cons

Navigation is a big pain.

The site is just very plain overall, and the navigation isn't good at all. It's broken down by year, and then by month, but that's it. They can't even list the months in the right order honestly. There are no categories or search features available, so forget about narrowing the content down at all. You're just clicking around blindly basically hoping to find something that looks fun.

Not very many videos.

Considering how many photos they have, the collection of 55 videos or so looks quite small in comparison. It's just not a priority here I guess, though the ones they have seem fun enough. I'd love to see a lot more in this department.

Can't download videos.

On top of the lack of quantity for the videos, you can't even download them. They all play in a Flash player, and that doesn't even look that great (many videos look squished if you ask me). I'm not sure what the reasoning is there.

Minor Negatives:

The quality can be quite bad here at times, especially as you get into the older collection. Pictures get small rather quickly, which is too bad as well.
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.
I'm not sure how much of this content is exclusive exactly. I'd guess not a ton, but it's tough to tell for sure.

Bottom Line

Some people might like it, but it just didn't work for me overall.

The best part is the size and longevity here, as a collection going back over a decade is pretty rare on the internet. However, what they have wasn't too exciting for me, and the site itself is extremely basic. The content is just okay, and the quality is just okay too (it varies a lot). The site makes it really difficult to find anything specific, and there aren't many options (no zip files, no video downloads, no search or browse features, etc.). I'd need a little of everything fixed to really get excited here. At least there's a lot to see and they're still updating though, which is better than I can say for a lot of sites we see.
