Porn Access is our latest review of a newer type of site that's been cropping up lately. Similar to Deluxe Pass and Adult Video Planet, Porn Access has a bunch of smaller sites under one membership. While there are many webmasters building the sites you get access to, they are limited to the content that Porn Access provides (as well as being hosted by them). This can be good or bad: bad that you're stuck with whatever they offer, especially if it's not something you enjoy; good if you like the content in that everything should be pretty consistent.
One login form I found didn't work at all to get into the member's area. After going back to their homepage, I found a link that did work finally. I'm not sure what the problem is there. Once inside, I didn't find the member's splash page very easy to browse. There's a list of the newest sites, and the sites of the day. Some of the newest sites had titles such as "Reality," or "Pregnant" which made me think they were categories or something to browse. They're not! The best way I found to get through the site was via the "browse entire network" link which was quite a bit easier to understand.
I saw sites claim anything from Quicktime to DivX videos, but their claims were incorrect. All the videos I saw were in Windows Media format only, and I don't think I was missing any links to alternatives. There's three options: a small video, a large video, and a streaming video (which is what they recommend). I'm not sure if the streaming version is variable or what, but it ended up in between the other two for quality. While the small and streaming were 320x240 at 250kbps and 550kbps, the big WMV was 512x384 at 1050kbps! The quality did vary a little bit depending on what studio produced the video, but overall it was pretty decent. It didn't live up to the hype of 1000+kbps in my opinion, but it was quite watchable at full screen nonetheless. There's some info down below, which sometimes says there are multiple clips available. I don't see any links to these, so I have no idea what they're talking about.
There's also screen caps available usually, although the link might not be the easiest to find. They're obviously not overly exciting as they're just screen caps, but if you're wanting a preview of the video I guess they are good for that.
My big complaint here is just finding the type of video you're looking for. They have categories set up, but you're clicking randomly on site titles that rarely have much to do with anything. Once there, you have ten videos to check out and you're done. This is a problem of AEN's in general, as compared to a normal video site. Plus, it's very difficult to find what's new and when sites were added. They have a lot of cool content, but it's so hard to find specific things that it seems worthless to even try.
$30 is pretty standard fare for sites like this unfortunately, and it's higher than most general video sites which really doesn't help things. They have lots of videos that are pretty good quality, and they're downloadable. If that's what you're looking for, you should enjoy the site. If you're used to video-only sites with fancy search features, and new DVD's posted daily, you might be a little disappointed. The site itself here at Porn Access is just so-so, but the content they have is definitely worth a look.

Well I'm glad to say my main gripe from this site before is a bit better now. They recently launched a new member's area, and it makes browsing a bit easier. You can now browse by site, or by video making this an odd mix of AVS and paysite format. Recent updates are listed on a page now, but just for sites that have recently updated (still can't find new movies very easy).
In other big news, they've lowered their price just for our members here to $15 a month, which is an awesome 50% price decrease!!
Overall I like the changes. Going to random no-name sites didn't do much for me before, so I like that you can see it all from one site. The "progressive download" link confused me at first, but basically it'll start playing in Windows Media Player right away, and of course you can still save it. Some nice changes here for sure. The number of videos is a good plus, and that's still growing pretty well. It's not as robust as some of our top video sites, but a good bet nevertheless.

It's basically business as usual at Porn Access from what I see. The site is definitely larger than ever, with over 1,300 sites and 10,000 videos online currently. Updates are coming pretty regularly it seems, which is helping those numbers continue to climb. The site is much the same as last time (when they had completed a redesign), which is better than originally, but still not 100% ideal. Quality is okay, but they're being passed up by some of the newer sites in that area too. For the price, you get a ton of content, so it's definitely worth a look to see if you like the way they did things.
Score increased from 85.0 to 86.0.
