Upon first look at Pix and Video, it looks like a generic porn site to me. The color scheme (white, purple, and pink), the pictures, and even the name don't give it much personality right off the bat. I'll tell you that this is no reality site, so there's no gimmicks around to bang chicks or anything like that.
Once inside, there are basically two ways to browse around most effectively. If you click their "gallery" menu link, you'll be taken to a calendar with the latest updates (that come daily), with a large thumb preview when you hover over the link, and a notation whether it's pix, video, or both pix and video. Otherwise, click the "model" link which gives you a smaller thumb preview of all the models they have available. Once you find a hot chick, you can then see all her available galleries. Watch out though, as the bottom half of some of these pages contain links to ClubSandy.com, which is another paysite run by them that you don't get access to unless you pay more, which can be very confusing as they blend in the links a bit too well. Too bad :(
The photo galleries themselves are set up in a standard manner, with 20 pictures on each page. They also offer zip files of each page, or all the pictures in one big zip file (but the last option is only available on the splash page of the gallery, so don't forget about it back there). While browsing around the gallery, each picture opens up in a new window for some reason, forcing you to close it each time you want to get back to the gallery. The pictures also have this weird, thick black border around them for some reason, and I don't think they're part of the picture. I think it has to do with how they display them.
The photos themselves actually look very, very good. The recent sets have large photos, ranging from around 1000x700 to 1200x800. They are exceptionally clear and crisp, and everything is usually set up very well as far as lighting, etc. goes. There's not too much airbrushing or anything like that either, in case you were wondering.
There are also quite a few videos on the site, which are always fun. Unfortunately they are only offered in one size and format, which is a 400x300 DIVX clip. As are their photo counterparts, the video is of a very high-quality. Since they are offering up such high-end stuff, I wouldn't have minded seeing a larger and smaller version for those who wanted them (640x480, or 320x240). As it is though, they look really good at fullscreen, and obviously even better smaller. The only downfall is the waiting for each clip to download before it starts, as it can sure put a damper in things when you're stuck waiting forever. Thankfully the videos are broken down into two minute clips which helps.
Overall, I liked the site but I don't think it was great. To me, it was pretty similar (maybe just because of the damn calendar view) to 1by-day in a lot of respects. I think it had quite a bit less content than the other site though, because it hasn't been around nearly as long. The quality of both the photos and videos was really good, which is a huge plus. There were a few navigational things I didn't like (the pictures in a new window, which made them a little slower to load than others), plus it will be a little hard to jump around their calendar going one month at a time once they've built things up. $30 rebilling at $25 is a little high for the site right now in my opinion, but of course I never like to see anything above $25 even for the best of them. When we look at this site again in a few months or a year, the score will definitely be higher with all the udpates that occur between now and then. Until then, if you're bored of 1by-day, Pix and Video might be a nice retreat!

Ok, well not much has changed around these parts, but the site was so new last time we looked at it - it definitely deserved another look. They've been faithfully updating with new sets each and every day for the last six months; this obviously has added a ton of content (like doubled it??). I was also really pleased to see that six out of seven updates each week contained both pix and videos, and the other one was video only. This is a lot more video overall than most of the sites out there right now (especially for sites that offer both). Considering a lot of sites are 75% pictures and 25% videos, the fact that here we have 55% videos is a big benefit.
Quality is still as good as most any other site out there. While not 100% perfect all around, it's at 98% which is about as good as it gets. If you can get over the hump of the first $30, it's a pretty good deal at $25 every other month. If you're looking for just the best videos, or the best pictures, you may not find either here; but if you want a little bit of it all, in awesome quality, then I think you've got yourself a winner.
Quantity will go up, as will entertaining, price, and value.

Pix and Video sure has grown a lot since last time we were here, no doubt due to their daily update schedule that continues on today. The pictures look a little larger than last time too, though video quality remains the same and could use a bump in quality for sure. Otherwise, I'm glad to see things rolling along here nicely. The large amount of exclusive content is definitely a huge advantage, and if we can bump the video quality up I think the content will be very lucrative here.
Score decreased from 91.6 to 89.5.
