Pink Tropics is up for review today, and it's a site based on 3D toon-type models. The main focus here is actually a game that you download. From there, you're a dude walking around some hotel (presumably in the tropics?) trying to fuck chicks for money, and film it I guess. It's an interesting idea, but sometimes these games just lose the fun after a while. We'll see. They also have some photos and videos available, though that part of the site is quite small. Membership is $20 a month, and you must be an active member to play the game (with a live internet connection).
The Pros
Unique site and content.
It's a mix of stuff here, but the mostly focus on the game, which takes place in a pretty unique 3D world. You get to score with chicks, and try to do it well to advance. There's also 3D content of Ashlynn Brooke, as well as regular photos and videos of her.
Game quality is good.
Walking around in the virtual world looks really nice. The girls movements are smooth, and the overall quality is good. You can choose the specs for the game window, as well, to make it as large, or small, as you want.
The Cons
I just don't get the whole premise.
Games are fun, I get that. Scoring with chicks is fun too, I get that. But the whole site here is just odd for me. The random mix of real-world content, 3D content, and the game just don't mix well together. I think the game is the main focus here, but even that gets old after a bit. I don't know what I'm aiming for (more money?) or what the goal is exactly. I'm just going around scoring as much as possible without any direction. Somehow, that got a little old for me.
Software install required.
I know there are a lot of paranoid people out there, and installing a whole piece of software is a pretty big step to take in terms of trust. Everything seems on the up and up on my end, and I found no security issues or anything. But it's an extra step that takes time, trust, and a little know-how to configure it correctly. Most people want something that works quicker.
Game takes too much concentration.
Walking around is easy enough, and finally finding girls to fuck is easy too. However, once you're getting down and dirty, I think they lost sight of the goal here. They made it a game that you have to time some clicks perfectly to get the highest score. However, they happen so fast that you don't even get to watch what's going on in the scene. On top of that, they offer multiple camera angles and options that are near impossible to take advantage of if you're trying to play well. Maybe there are some replays somewhere I missed, but it's just more work and less porn than necessary for me.
Ong big glitch occured.
After I had racked up some cash and scores, I tried to venture out to see what else there was. I went up some stairs to a hallway and ended up getting stuck in the middle of the walkway. I could walk from wall to railing, but couldn't move anywhere else, and couldn't even backtrack where I came from. Even reloading the game didn't fix it, and I had to start over. Bummer.
Minor Negatives:
Besides the game, it's a pretty small site overall, and doesn't seem to update much. I'm not sure how often the game is updated.
Bottom Line
A lot of work went into it, but the entertainment value was just so-so for me.
After downloading the game, installing it, and playing for a while, I think I got most of the basics down. I got to fuck many chicks, made some good money, and figured out most of the controls. From there though, it just got repetitive. On top of that, I felt like the game took too much concentration, and you never got to just enjoy the 3D fucking and the fun positions you chose to use. I think more should go into turning the girl on and choosing the right positions (how the hell did she orgasm from blowing me exactly?), and less into the rhythmic clicking you need to do to do well. Then, let us enjoy all the animation (which looks nice and smooth) and girls. The rest of the site is quite small, and is just some okay bonus stuff. If you really dig the idea, it's worth a look, but for me, I just wouldn't stick around too long.
