Intro

Peter North Mobile is up for review today, and this is the place to go if you want to watch some Peter North scenes on your phone from the road I guess. They have a pretty large collection here, but much like the official Peter North website, lots of the content here doesn't even feature Peter at all. The site is 100% designed for mobile use, and even the video files (3GP) are mainly used for mobile devices. Just $10 a month gets you in the door thanks to a special discount they've setup for our users.

The Pros

Pretty large collection.

With around 1,800 video clips online currently, there's actually a ton of content to check out here. The number was surprising, but I'm glad to see it since the content isn't exclusive or anything. You shouldn't get too bored here too quickly.

Updates come almost daily.

I'm not sure why they skipped a day this last week, but who cares. There was a new scene posted here every other day (aka six new videos last week), which is pretty impressive for a simple mobile site like this.

Category option for navigation.

They went ultra-simple in terms of site design and options here, which makes sense. However, they did add a category selection feature, which is greatly appreciated. It lets you filter down the videos into several main categories. Otherwise, trying to get through 123 pages of videos on your iPhone would definitely suck donkey balls.

Other Good Stuff:

$10 is a definitely steal to get in here. It cuts the normal membership price to 66% less than you'd normally pay.

The Cons

Mostly non-exclusive material.

As expected, Peter isn't shooting any actual material for this site. He has a ton of content available already, which is what they use here instead. Most all of the scenes seem to come from DVD sources, so you've probably seen this stuff in several places already.

Very few options all around.

It was designed this way on purpose, to make loading the site and using it on a tiny screen easier; however, there are still a lot less features than you usually see on paysites these days. Videos come in one size, one file, and one option. Navigation is definitely a pain, even with the category feature (what if you want a video that's on page 42??).

Quality isn't as good on regular computers.

The videos look pretty good on your mobile phone, as expected. Pretty much everything looks good on these tiny screens. However, the actual video quality, when compared to a video from a normal paysite, is going to be lower. It's on purpose, but needs to be mentioned.

Bottom Line

A pretty basic site, but that's the point; it delivers exactly what you'd expect.

You can't go for a lot of style points or options on a mobile site like this. Peter North Mobile gets the job done exactly as expected here. There's actually a ton of content up, near-daily updates, and even a category selection to aid in navigation. The downsides are lower quality than you see on a regular porn site, non-exclusive content, and few options all around. The lack of Peter North himself in many of the scenes was a surprise as well since it's his name on the front door. The site itself isn't anything great, but as for a mobile experience, it works perfectly well, and doesn't cost too much to boot.
