While I wouldn't call myself a maniac, I do enjoy a good panty now and then. Okay, that's a sentence I never thought I'd say. Panty Maniacs is the site up for review today, and I'm not sure if I'm the maniac as a user, or if the girls wearing the panties are the maniacs, or what exactly. Throw a dog a bone here! Some good news comes in the form of a $20 price tag, which isn't mind-blowing but it's definitely better than the $30-$40 we've been seeing lately.
The good:
- Updates come daily here! It looks like a new photo set comes online every other day, and in between those a video comes online every other day as well. The site is already a decent size, so to be adding something new daily will only continue that tradition.
- I can't tell for sure, but I think quite a lot of the content is exclusive here. The nature of the content is all very similar (solo girls posing sexy in panties), and you can see some backgrounds and girls used more than once which is another good indicator.
- The $20 price tag is decent as mentioned before. While it doesn't quite compete with some of the $10-$15 bargains we've been getting lately, it's definitely better than charging more.
- The videos look pretty decent overall. The MPG specs of 352x288 and 2250kbps are above normal, and the videos reflect that. There's definitely room for improvement, but they look a bit better than the photos do if you ask me.
The bad:
- There's no separate photo section. Videos have their own section, but the only way to find photos is to browse through the models (or you can view the most recent ones on the new content page). What's worse, the model's page doesn't have any preview pics, so you're just clicking around blindly on girls that you hope look good based on their name.
- Videos only come in one format/option. I wouldn't mind seeing this beefed up a bit with a second video type, and possibly some clips in addition to the full-scene downloads. They offer zip files for pictures already, so they're definitely open to offering more options.
- They say themselves that it's a "sexy" site, not a sex site. This may disappoint some as there's not much in the way of hardcore sex; but for panty lovers, they'll love the sexy nude ladies showing off their stuff.
The three big things here are the decent price, daily updates, and exclusive content. While the site could use some work in a few places, those add up to a good site regardless of the problems. If they could work on the small issues, I think they'd be leaps and bounds ahead of a lot of sites out there.
