Intro

Next Door Pass is a network of gay porn sites with a mix of solo guy performers, "Next Door" themed sites, and a couple other niches. The guest tour features a simple list of the included sites with links over to each one's tour plus some video samples. The member's are hub is actually an identical layout so visitors do get a feel for the network design. Unlike a lot of other networks that are straight oriented with a couple gay site thrown in Next Door Pass is completely dedicated to gay content.

The Pros

Lots of Exclusive Gay Content, Solo Guy & Hardcore.

Taken as a whole package Next Door Pass has a lot of total content in terms of both picture galleries and videos. The bulk of the sites feature both types of content but videos are emphasized more which is a plus. Throughout the sites there is a blend of solo guy, hardcore guy/guy, and groupsex. The Next Door Hookups even has some guy/girl content which are geared towards a gay audience.

Mix of Solo Guy Sites & Niche Themed Sites.

There is some nice balance in terms of solo guy sites along with niche based sites. Nude Male Dancers.tv has strip-show style shows along with additional videos and photo galleries. The solo guy sites are at the top of the network hub list so it seems those are key parts of the collection.

WMV Full-Video Files, Streaming Flash, & QT Formats.

The movie options are pretty consistent throughout the network with a couple sites that are exceptions. The options are full-movie WMV files (2 quality levels), QT format, and Flash streaming. For the downloadable WMV the highest level usually come in at around 100-300MB is size. The Flash streams buffer quickly and are pretty good quality.

Other Good Stuff:

These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.
Solo guy sites have blogs with entries by the performers.
Steady updates across nearly all the sites.

The Cons

Basic Network Navigation, Must Re-Enter Login for Each Site.

The network really has feel like it's a bunch of individual sites connected by a basic hub. The hub links to the sites where it's necessary to enter your password for each (for the first time you visit). There aren't any network navigation/search tools or an update summary log. More and more networks nowadays work in network wide navigation features but that's not the case at Next Door Pass.

Slowish Download Speed, Restricted Download Manger Use.

The download speed is a bit slow at around 400-500KB/sec which makes for download waits for these 200-300MB files. I was unable to use my download manager except on Firefox where pause/resume was not allowed the speed was no faster than the browser downloads.

Minor Negatives:

There are some pop-up ads, upsells, and join page cross-sells.
No zip files for the picture galleries.
Some episodes don't have accurate file size info on the movie files.

Bottom Line

This gay site network features a blend of solo performers & niche sites.

Next Door Pass's best asset is the large collection of downloadable videos and picture galleries. The solo guy sites have additional things like blogs and biographies so there is more personality there. The downloading/viewing options are solid and they do a good job of updating the different sites at a steady pace. The main negative is the design and navigation mostly when it comes to navigating the network as a whole. There really just aren't any network wide tools and having to re-enter your login for each site is old school and annoying. The individual sites themselves have straightforward designs that are pretty consistent.
