Next Door Lana is an individual girl site featuring Lana who is a Mexican/Thai model. The guest tour offers up a helpful sampling of the site's content. Basically Lana covers all the bases I expect from a solo girl with pics, vids, and interaction content. The site design features a clean layout that's sharpter than most of these type of sites.
The Goods:
- Balanced Picture & Video Collection. The raw number of picture galleries is slightly higher than the total number of videos but it’s not lopsided at all. The shoots feature Lana in solo softcore stripping and posing. For some variety they keep things fresh with different types of outfits and locations. The content production is a step up in professionalism than your typical amateur. Some might say it's more of an individual model site than an amateur.
- Webcam w/ Vid Archives & a Diary. Interaction is important to solo girl sites and Lana has webcam shows. A schedule shows dates for the next couple of shows. She also an archive section of downloadable webcam videos of past shows which is an excellent feature. The other main interaction tool is a diary which has pretty regular entries.
- Helpful Update Log & Info. The member's main page has a list of past updates and upcoming additions. Additionally there is a more fully developed update page with monthly archives. All picture galleries and videos across the site are stamped with date added info.
The Bads:
- Avg Vid Quality, Background Music. While the site's picture quality is pretty high the videos only look average. I also noticed a couple characteristics that might be negatives to some viewers. Many videos have loud background music and no sound but the music. I also ran into vids where Lana is posing for pictures (her changing poses, flash bulbs going off, etc.). Only some videos have no music, full sound, and Lana doing a performance for the video camera.
- Could Always Use More Content. Lana has content that dates back to mid 2007. She's been steadily adding content since then but the number of picture galleries and videos could be increased. Simply put we just need more time to pass for her to establish a larger database of material.
Conclusion:
Next Door Lana is a well rounded individual girl site. She hasn't left anything out and includes basic content like pics/vids along with a couple active interaction features. At $19.95/mo the price is in the right range for an amateur site and in-line with the amount of material available to members.
