There's something special about a straight guy doing gay porn it seems, probably similar to when two chicks make out for the first time. New York Straight Men combines the first-time gay dudes with guys from New York to provide a pretty niched-out experience here. The tour is nothing too special for me, but it shows a lot of previews which isn't a bad thing I guess. They charge $26 a month for membership, which is about what I was expecting for exclusive content of this nature.
The goods:
- Exclusive gay content. Just like I get sick of seeing the same old Matrix babes over and over again, I'm sure fans of gay material have it even worse seeing the same crap over and over. New York Straight Men offers all exclusive content, which is definitely a key feature here.
- Updates come every five days. They keep the site growing at a good pace, and is slightly better than the weekly update minimum I usually look for.
- Quality is decent. It could use a little work here and there, but overall the quality is good enough here. The video specs are good, and the only thing I'd like to see fixed would be the lighting and coloring which can be off sometimes.
The bads:
- Plain member's area. The logo is cute but cheesy, and there's really not a lot of design work put into the site. I like the gallery layout with the tabs for pics, videos, etc., but the actual main page is just very simple and old looking. Simple and clean is good, but I wouldn't say that's what this is.
- Could use a little more growth. They're not small by any means, but that's one thing that'll really help them stand apart from the crowd when their numbers are just getting huge. In time, they should get there.
Conclusion:
Though there aren't a lot of specific little things they need to fix, overall the site was good but not great. I can't put my finger on anything in particular, but they seem to do everything just good enough while never really standing out as a great site. They cover a lot of the basics well at least, and it's not a bad join at all. If they could just do a few things very well, I think I'd remember this site more.

Business as usual at New York Straight Men it seems, with much being the same as it was on our first visit. The major news is just the extra content of course, which brings their scene count to over 200, which is pretty impressive these days. The navigation is still pretty tricky, especially as the collection continues to grow though. Otherwise, not a ton has changed, so there's not much more to report on. I assume the updates will continue as usual, but any site upgrades would be a welcome addition for me.
Score increased from 77.5 to 78.5.

Well, there's not a ton to report on here since our last visit. Most of the news here just revolves around the extra content that they offer now, as updates seem to be coming along pretty regularly. They're now up and over the 230 scene mark which is pretty good here, especially since the content is exclusive and all. The site is still pretty plain inside, and I'd say they really need to get cracking on that soon, as it holds the whole site back a bit. Otherwise, the content is still decent, though nothing stands out as awesome overall.
Score remains at 78.5.
