NewbieNudes.com calls itself "the FREE amateur site with a different", claiming to offer: "over 690,000+ nude hardcore and softcore pics", "a limited selection of" audience submitted videos, community participation and more, all for free. What looks to be one large community of amateurs is also one seemingly roughly designed site with lots and lots of content and, unfortunately, lots of text-linked ads cluttering up the page (as a premium member you can hide these ads). I should however say that there are a lot of members here, about 600,000+ and as a part of the community you can not only check out others' content but also download your own, as well as involve yourself in chats, blogs, message forums and more. And while registration is free, a Premium Membership here will cost about $25 bucks per month.
The Good:
- Even as a free member there are a lot of features that you get access to include an online profile, friends list, blogs, chat and more. You can also upload your own content and browse through others, with (I think) all of the image content being available to you (although only Premium members get to see the full size images). Overall there's just one great big community of people here.
- Obviously there is a large amount of content to check out on the site, all member submitted, all amateur, and updates are constant.
- You'll find a great variety of content here as well, from BBW to fetish content like stockings and bondage to butt shots, boob shoots, sex, masturbation, interracial, hairy, lesbians, dick shots and more.
- The content is broken down into categories, making browsing all that much easier. There are also many navigational options including different ways to sort the content, filters, and even easy profile access that also allows you to view all of a certain members' submitted photos, message them, rate them, add comments, and more.
The Bad:
- Since all of the content is member submitted, you're going to find that there's a huge amount of inconsistency in the quality of content. While some images can be super large and very nice quality, others are small and grainy, or even blurry often times. The videos too can range from extremely poor clips to average quality ones. It would be a great feature if they could somehow allow you to filter through content with a certain minimum amount of quality to it (bit rate and/or pixel size).
- Like I mentioned before, the site is literally cluttered with ads and even though you can hide some of them as a premium member, still some remain and overall it just gives the site a more amateur feel to the design than it really is.
- For a member community submitted site, I have to admit that the price feels a little too high. Granted, there is an awful lot of content here and a great place to interact with other amateurs with lots of features being offered for free, so it almost makes it feel like you're paying the monthly subscription just to help support the site.
I have to admit that by the end of this review I really ended up with a much higher appreciation for Newbie Nudes and all that it offers. It's probably one of the better communities for amateurs who are looking for a place to post pics and videos of themselves and/or look at others'. The inconsistency in quality is obviously not something you can really blame to site itself for and I actually found myself impressed at times by the quality and size of the images (probably more so than the videos). There's just so much to see and do here, anyone could easily spend lots of time interacting with others and browsing the content offered. I guess in the end the price isn't bad considering, but definitely check the site out first as a free member and then jump in with both feet.
