Nerd Pass is up for review today, but I don't really get where the nerds come into play. The girls don't look nerdy to me (they look hot), so maybe the guys getting fucked are nerds. Either way, it's a reality network featuring all the usual suspects (Latina, fucking on a bus, 18-year-olds, etc.), with lots of hardcore action. The latest videos come in HD, but there's also some bad news to go along with that. The sites have stopped updating completely a few months ago, which isn't good news at all. The Pros
Decent-sized collection.
With just under 350 scenes currently, there's a decent amount to see here. I wouldn't call it huge at all, especially for a network, but there's definitely enough to see to make it worth your while. I'd love to say updates are coming to help the numbers out, but they're not (see below).
Latest videos look pretty nice (HD).
It's not like one day they switched over to HD 100%, but in general, most of the latest videos have them. They look pretty nice overall, and help the site stand out a bit. If only the whole collection was shot in HD!
Other Good Stuff:
The site design here looks really nice and sharp, which always helps to put out a nice impression.
Of course, the content is exclusive here, which is pretty much expected for this type of stuff.
The download options aren't bad with WMV and MOV movies, plus an iphone version, and a streaming Flash version.
The Cons
No longer updating.
This one is a big bummer. Updates started slowing down, and finally stopped, several months ago. I have to assume this is a permanent change, which is pretty bad news. The collection isn't that large for a network, and the lack of updates makes it really hard to want to stick around very long.
Quality could be better on older content.
It's a bit random, as you can find better-looking scenes still in the archives, but it's hit or miss a lot. Some of the videos come in quite small, even when hitting the same "WMV HD" download link you do every other time.
Navigation needs work.
With a few hundred scenes up, I'm surprised they don't have a nice search feature here. They have the basics, such as a models index, or the ability to browse by site, but why not have a network-wide advanced search option to find specific types of content and models?
Minor Negatives:
Every single one of the movies offers an HD download link, which isn't always the case of course. I hate things like that as they get your hopes up, only to let you down.
The picture galleries take forever to load for some reason. It looks like they have some kind of stats program, or something on Google, the loads in the background that's hanging the page up. Hopefully it's a temporary glitch.
Bottom Line
Some decent scenes and options up, but I'd look for more content, and the resuming of updates.
Nerd Pass is off to a decent start, but it's much too early for them to die off like they are. For a network, it's not the largest collection in the world. Updates started slowing down a few months ago until they finally stopped, which won't help the situation. What's up for now is still fun to check out, with good scenes, and good quality lately. The site looks nice, and offering up some search features would help them out even more. However, the lack of updates and growth are what will stick in my mind here the most, which is unfortunate. Maybe things will revive soon, but I wouldn't hold my breath in this economy.
