Before I was 18, the best thing in the world was if I, or one of my friends, found a naughty magazine in the house somewhere to take a quick peek at. Little did I know that there's a magazine actually called Naughty Mag. I should have chosen my words more carefully when I was younger. I guess technically there's a website called Naughty Mag, brought to you by the Score Magazine people, that features content from their Naughty Neighbors magazine, as well as quite a few others (Newcummers, 30Something, 18Eighteen, and now 40Something as well).
These sites have continually impressed me as we've looked at them. I think we're winding down through the last ones, but I have faith that this one will shine as well, especially with so many magazines represented here. At $30 a month, it's not exactly cheap, but it's not over-the-top expensive either, especially for what you get.
Getting around the site is simple. You need to choose the magazine you want to check out, and voila you're presented with all of the galleries they have. You then usually browse by issue or month, and from there can get to the specific galleries available. You then have another choice to make regarding picture sizes, as they have two options (although the numbers they give are only true some of the time). Newer photos do come in at 1600x1200, which is quite amazing for a magazine site, while older sets max out at 1200x800 which isn't bad either considering how far back the content goes. This group of sites has amateur-ish content, so that's the general feel you get from the photos. They have the look of scanned images, but it's not as bad as I was expecting. They also offer zip files (in both picture sizes), though you need to download multiple zips for one full photoset.
Videos are off in a different section, and only some seem related to the magazines here. They vary a lot across the board, with some Quicktime, Windows Media, and MPG around depending where you look. The one thing I did notice was slow downloads at times, which was evident while browsing their photo galleries as well, with speeds only coming in at 30-40KB/sec. or so. Other times they'd be better (though not perfect) at 125KB/sec. from the same server not two minutes later - weird. The first WMV I checked out was 640x480 and 450kbps, which looked alright (the girls were smoking hot at least). The high-quality WMV option turned out to be an MPG most of the time, but even the low-quality was 640x480 and 600kbps (though it only looked average). The MPG (aka HQ WMV) are your best bet at 1300kbps or so, as long as the downloads are quick. A more consistent setup here would be nice.
Overall, I'm pleased again. It's a bit more confusing with the extra sites here, but more content should always be a better thing. The video section needs the most navigation improvement. Content overall is pretty good, especially when you consider it's a magazine site. If you're looking for more generic content from the Score people, this might be a good choice as there's a decent range (as long as you can afford it).

With all the time that has passed, of course there's been some good growth at Naughty Mag. Nothing has really changed here though, which is too bad since I was hoping a new site would be in place. There's a lot more content than last time, still mostly focusing on photos. The price and quality are similar as well, so there's just not a ton to report on. Any time you surprass a milestone like half a million photos, I think you're doing okay.
Score increased from 83.0 to 83.5.
