TBP has had reviews for Naughty America online for several years. Since they continue to modify and improve the set-up this is a full re-review of what they have to offer. Back in the day this company used to have their flagship site So Cal Coeds plus a handful of other reality/video niche sites as a supporting cast. As time has gone by they've done a fine job rounding out the other sites, increasing their number, and building a full-fledged network.
The Goods:
- Lots of Exclusive Vids, Live Chat Feature. Naughty America has a lot of sites under their network umbrella. Overall there are hundreds and hundreds of all original shoots available to members. The niches are more unique than many other video networks with many MILF/Mature sites, office sex, teacher/student concepts, office sex, and others. A new twist I haven't seen on any network like this is the Naughty America Live which is a constant ongoing chatroom with 3 live model video chats per day. Both the creativity of the feature and the frequency of the model apperances are impressive.
- Navigate by Model, Category, or Site. The navigation set-up really is a network based system rather than a bunch of stand alone sites tied together. It is possible to browse by individual site collections although that's just one of three main options. The other are by model index and niche categories. While it's not overly flashy all these are the main type of features necessary to browse a collection with this many movies.
- Good Update Info, Most Sites Updating. The member's network main page highlights recent additions and has a many pages of logs with content listed chronologically. Throughout the site all of the episodes are date-stamped which is helpful because they have stuff that is brand new along with shoots from years back.
- Full Movie Files & Clips. The overall movie format choices are good with several quality levels of WMV along with MPEG and iPod. Full-movie files and clips are available for the WMV and MPEG formats. All can be downloaded or streamed in a stand-alone media player.
The Bads:
- Some Avg Quality Vids, Options Vary. Video quality isn't a big positive here and depending on the age of the episode the number of options available does vary from shoot to shoot. The highest level "DVD" quality is solid though it's not really DVD level.
- Model Index Doesn't Have Pictures. The model index is one of the navigation features that could be improved upon. As it stands the list is simply text based without any pictures. While some of the names are certainly recognizable the lack of pictures certainly devalues the index as a browsing tool.
- Corny Reality Performances. While the niche concepts are pretty creative the plots are often carried out in repetitive and silly ways. The performers are mostly polished movie performers with that type of acting. There is less of an amateurish quality to the shoots than you might expect.
Conclusion:
Naughty America fits in with the other reality/video networks that helped launch that genre. These guys have been at it for years and over that time they've really improved the network integration and evolved from what used to be a basic collection of separate sites. The $24.95/mo price is right in line with what's standard for these types of networks and in fact it's about $5 cheaper than many of its competitors.
