Nasty NY Amateurs

  Small collection.

The site is still quite small, with just 88 videos and 56 galleries online. The videos tend to be on the shorter side and the galleries are small, usually with fewer than 25 photos. The site launched two years ago, so it's really odd that it's not larger than this.

  Little update info; infrequent schedule.

None of the scenes are dated and there's no update log. The tour shows some update dates, but the picture isn't good. It's not uncommon for two weeks to pass with nothing new.

  Design and navigation need work.

The set-up here isn't much to look at and it's lacking any sort of browse or search tools. There are no categories, no model index, no search box, nothing at all. There are tiny video thumbnails that you can click on and that's about it. It needs a lot of work.

  Poor to average quality content.

The recent HD additions notwithstanding, overall I was very underwhelmed with the quality of this collection. Most of the videos and a lot of the photos are just 320 x 240 in size. That's tiny! They also have lighting issues at times. They definitely live up to the "Amateur" in the site title.

Minor Negatives:

• No scene descriptions are provided. Many times they don't even tell you the names of the models in the scene.
• There aren't enough viewing options for the videos. Most scenes are offered in one format (wmv). Sometimes you'll get a choice that includes mp4, but it's hit or miss. There's no streaming option.
• Photos have to be downloaded in zip files. There's no way to just browse the photos in a standard thumbnail page online. I didn't care for the extra step to just look at the photos.
• Downloads came very slowly. Even with a download manager they were a fraction of the speed they should have been.
