Here's a site that's been around what seems like forever. Naked News takes current news stories, and makes a typical news program out of them. All the while, the hot female anchors are stripping down to nothing to get the naked into Naked News. That's at least my brief understanding of it, so I'm glad we'll get to check it out in more detail today. It's only $10 a month to become a member, so it's a pretty good deal price-wise. The one thing I'm wondering about is how much content they have. Do they archive shows (which could be a little pointless with old news)? Do they have extra content? Let's jump in and see.
The first thing I did inside was hit the "current program" link, which says it's a continuous feed I guess. My Windows Media player opened with a news feed, but it doesn't look live. Once it loads, you're able to jump around just fine. Just as I thought, we get some news stories with ladies stripping every couple minutes. The news actually seemed pretty recent I guess. I think I read somewhere that they do six shows per week. I wish I watched the news like I used to, so I could know for sure just how new the news was.
Besides watching this streaming show, they have a few other options. You can watch specific segments only, and they also have an archive available from the last five months (if my math is correct). These archives can be streamed or downloaded, which gives you some good options. I can't figure out why you'd want to save old shows for longer than a day or two, but maybe your favorite chick was especially hot that day.
Quality is pretty good. They have some viewing options you can set, and I had mine on Windows Media in the highest quality of the three. They also offer Real Player and Quicktime as options as well. The video is a little larger than normal at 480x360, and encoding seems somewhere right in the middle (500k? - there's no info on it this time). For having to have new content up all the time, it's better quality than I expected it to be.
Sorry this is so short, but there's not a lot to say here. I think the content could get old after a bit. It's more of a novelty site for me, but if you want your news and you want naked women, where else are you going to find them together? At $10 a month, the price is just right for me, and it's worth a look just to know what people are talking about if it ever comes up.
