I'm floored that this site is still in existence. I remember checking this site out over five years ago when someone else in the office pointed it out to me. My initial thought was that it was the king of all gimmicks. Now that I think about it, the local reporters on my city's Fox affiliate look like pornstars anyways so this isn't all that much of a stretch. Naked News delivers exactly what they promote: daily news broadcasts where the reporters strip down to nothing throughout their report. There's a new show every day of the week except Saturdays. Besides the naked chicks my favorite thing is that there aren't any commercials!
Basic broadcast segments include: International News, Entertainment, North American News, Sports, New Release Rack, Closing Remarks, and Bloopers. The best thing to compare the reporting to would be Headline News, a brief synopsis is given of some of the days biggest news stories. Actually what really impresses me is the archived shows (past 150) that can be searched by Date, Anchor, Segment or any combination of those three criteria. There's actually more to see beyond those basic segments I mentioned earlier and the archives search makes them easy to get at. All told around 30 types of segments are available including thing like Cooking in the Raw, Dumb Criminals, Nude Views, Legal Briefs, Movies, Behind-the-Scenes, Viewer Mail, etc. This crew is a lot more creative than I expected so it turns out there's quite a variety of reports to see including many funny and lighthearted ones. There's quite a variety of chicks too, their bios and some pics can be found on the free tour.
It's good to see a variety of video formats, Windows Media, Real, and QuickTime are all available in three connection speeds. Streaming is the easiest way to watch them although zip files are offered for downloading. Since most of you use Windows Media, I'll point out the medium quality stream plays in-browser, but the high quality uses the normal media player. A preference settings menu makes it simple to adjust these options.
For a unique specialty service these guys have a good website going. For those of you thinking about joining, their content is worth the $9.95/mo membership. As far as the nudity goes, it does seem to be extremely repetitive. The girl stripping down and standing around nude is the only adult-like content the girls ever do, it never goes any further than that. Also, the girls are concentrating on their news report so it's not like their acting sexy for the camera. The stripping can sometimes seem sterile instead of tantalizing and sexy.
