Today we're looking at a site called Movable Porn, which is focused on getting you some porn movies for your PSP, iPhone, iPod, Zune, cell phone, and computer, all at once. They basically offer up some pretty standard hardcore porn scenes, and get them in the formats necessary to just load them right onto your portable without any muss or fuss. Now normally a site like this would be stuck with lower quality videos, as who needs anything too crazy on a 3" widescreen? Here, however, they even offer up HD videos for viewing on your computer, which is a nice touch. Membership is $20 a month, which is good enough for me.
The goods:
- Lots of video formats offered. As I mentioned, they have video files here for most everything I think of: computer (HD WMV), cell phone (smaller WMV), Zune (WMV), iPhone/iPod (.m4v), and PSP (.mp4). That's more than most actual paysites have, which is good to see.
- HD videos are a nice touch. They're nothing too great-looking, but I was surprised to see the option at all. They're 1280x720 and 1150kbps, so the quality isn't spectacular, but better than being stuck with the really small videos here.
- Updates do seem to come. Just judging by our own content counts, the numbers do go up, just quite slowly.
The bads:
- Not a huge site. There are just over 50 videos online right now, which isn't much unfortunately. Hopefully you can find something you like in their collection.
- Updates aren't dated. There are no dates anywhere (though they claim they update weekly), and I don't think updates are coming terribly fast either.
- Navigation is a bit plain. There is just one long list of videos to check out, with no categories or search to go through. It's not a huge problem now, but if they ever got bigger, it would be.
Conclusion:
The idea is good here, and they seem to have most all the formats you could need covered. The porn is fine enough, as it's just standard hardcore porn scenes. The big problem I see is the lack of size and growth here. It's just a big question mark, and the signs don't look extremely promising. Time will tell I guess, but I'd really love to see some growth and expansion here.
