Intro

Morey Studio is up for review today, and this is a high-end photography site from photographer Craig Morey. I don't see a ton of info on him here, but I guess he doesn't matter a ton. What does matter is that dude knows his way around a camera, as well as nude women. He takes some great pictures, and this is now the only place to see them. $17 gets you into the site for the first month, and that drops to $13 a month if you decide to stick around.

The Pros

Photos look great!

The content and photos are the reason to join this site, period. The photographs coming out here look awesome. The quality is spot on, as are all the technical details. The photos are interesting as well, which can be a problem on other sites. Definitely download the zip file so you can see the larger pictures.

Other Good Stuff:

Their content is exclusive here, as you can probably tell.
Updates come pretty regularly it seems, with a new photoset put up every few days. Depending on the week, you'll probably get 2-3 new sets weekly.

The Cons

Navigation is very plain.

It's amazing how you miss the little things, like a models index, when they're gone. Getting around this site is a huge pain. There's basically a single list of photo galleries in chronological order, and that's all you get. Everything is text-based, cluttered, and a little confusing.

No scene or model info.

Well, technically, the blog does offer some blurbs about the scenes at least. Why not throw that info on the gallery pages as well, so we all can read it while starting to browse the thumbnails?

The models have no info on them, on the other hand, at least that I can see. They're missing some huge personality points there, since the site feels very plain without it.

Online galleries have smaller images.

If you are a fan of just browsing through the images online, you're in for a disappointment here as the online galleries don't offer the full size images for some reason. You have to download the zip file to check those out.

Minor Negatives:

The images could be even larger here, in my opinion. The quality is there to handle it, and I think it would help them compete a bit better to really bump those up as high as they can go.

The other

There are no videos here at all, which isn't too surprising. They focus on the photography all the way here, so video lovers need not apply.

Bottom Line

Great photography, and great models, but don't expect a whole lot more.

More Studio does one thing really, really well: nude photography. Concentrate on that aspect, and you'll do just fine here overall. The models are hot, the sets look great, the lighting and coloring is spot on, the quality is perfect, and the photos are unique and interesting. Once you venture out beyond the content, we start to lose points quickly. Getting around the site is a huge pain, you have to download the zip file to get the best pictures, there's no info on the models themselves that I could find, there are no videos, and the site could still use a little growth I'm sure. Updates are coming, but the photo-only aspect hurts them a bit in the numbers game. I love the content, and the price is right, but you just can't expect the same things you'll get from a more mainstream site while here.
