MikeyAndMandy.com is a porn magazine devoted to providing men and women with quality porn covering a variety of niches. They call their site a Porn Emporium and I think that is a pretty accurate title (emporium is defined as "a store carrying a diversity of merchandise"). They carry everything from vintage porn to dirty cartoons, art, articles, editorials, and a little bit of everything else.
The Goods –
This really is an unusual collection. It’s a good site for the mainstream man who still has some kinky curiosities but isn’t into any one fetish enough to join a site for it. Here he can sample some exotic tastes like midgets, smokers, and sex machines along with old reliable tits and asses. The articles and columns are also entertaining. They didn’t just randomly throw up all the weird content they could find. Mikey and Mandy have really worked hard to put together an interesting site that is different from the rest.
Some of the material here is exclusive. Check out Mikey’s Original Photos for the exclusive stuff. There are currently around 60 galleries in this section and it certainly is unique. I’d call it amateur with a fetish twist. There’s some hardcore, some latex, some toys, some watersports; this section of the site is as varied as the rest of the collection.
Updates come pretty often. Every day or two a new gallery is added. All of the updates are posted on their updates page with thumbnails and links to the new sets. The site is growing at a good pace.
The price is nice and low. Membership is just $13 a month and after 90 days it drops to $10 a month. That’s a good price for this much material.
The Bads –
The design and navigation could really be improved. In terms of design, it’s just awfully plain with basic text on a gray background. There are a few graphics but not many. As for navigation, they’ve got the basics down with categorized content but beyond that you’re on your own. There’s no model index or search box, two features that would be extremely useful on a site with content as varied as this.
Content quality is all over the place .They get their material from so many different sources that from one gallery to the next you can go from some gorgeous professional shoot to the most basic, poorly lit amateur set. You really don’t know what you’re going to see until you click on it.
The majority of the material here is not exclusive. For many of the more bizarre sets, I have no idea where they found them. For others, the galleries are clearly stamped with the name of the site that originally published them and many of those sites are ones we’ve reviewed. If you’ve been around the block, you’ll recognized a good bit of the scenes.
Conclusion –
Mikey and Mandy’s site is so different from most of the sites we look at, and that works both for and against them. If you’re looking for a wild collection that offers up a little bit of everything at a nice low price price, this one is right up your alley. On the other hand, if you want a site that explores themes more in depth, that offers more original material, or more traditional material, this one isn’t for you. At this price, it’s worth a look. Who isn’t a little curious about morphed chicks with three breasts or the sexual advantages of clit rings? Hey, it’s worth a try.
