Met Art is an erotic photography site featuring beautiful, classy pictures and videos of natural looking teens as captured by some of the world’s best erotic photographers. They’re quite clear that this is not a pornography site, but rather a fine art collection The models are nude, and you’ll even see some girl-girl scenes and spreadshots, but the majority of the galleries simply feature beautiful models moving playfully and seductively in beautiful locations.
The Goods –
Content quality is top notch, as you’d expect. To produce these original sets, they work with some of the best erotic photographers in the world and it really shows. From details like locations and costumes, to the technical merits of the photo, nothing is overlooked. At up to 4368x2904 pixels in size, you can really get into a scene and admire every perfect detail. Even the videos were sharp and professionally done, with DivX avis playing at a gorgeous 4000k. Met Art certainly deserves the distinction of “art.”
Met’s collection of content is simply massive. There are currently 383,000 photos and 381 movies. They feature over 1,300 models, photographed by over 80 photographers. They’re celebrating their ninth year online and in that time they’ve managed to put together one of the largest collections of high quality, original work we’ve come across.
Their update schedule is practically unprecedented. Every single day, an average of four new galleries are added. It’s no wonder the site is as large as it is with over 400 original photos added daily. On top of that, members can view six live camshows per day, at two hours long a piece! Again, unprecedented.
The site is full of helpful user and advanced navigation features to make browsing the collection very easy. For photos, you’ve got two image sizes along with zip files, plus you can add galleries you enjoy most to your favorites folder. Movies play in your choice of six formats, covering whatever your preferred method of viewing is. Browsing can be done by date and photographer, and the search feature can further filter by model name, location, hair color, eye color, and shaved or not. They’ve managed to make navigating their huge site surprisingly easy.
The Bads –
The site design is pretty plain. It’s mostly gray and white text on a black background. There are few graphics and the ones they have are gray and less than exciting. One could argue the beauty of this site lies in the content so the site’s design should take a backseat, but I’d still like to see something a little more interesting.
Although navigation is easy and the site has many great user features, there is still room for more. I’d like to be able to browse the models more easily by photo. A thumbnailed headshot listing of all the ladies would be great. More location categories would also be welcome in their search feature. Right now they just offer indoors and outdoors. How about ocean, field, bed, and bath? And while we’re at it, a category for two-girl shoots would also be a good addition. What they currently offer is great, but there are a few things I would add.
Conclusion –
Met Art offers everything a fan of nude photography could hope for. They’ve got a huge collection of extremely high quality, original work, large daily updates, and a site that is easy to navigate. That’s not to mention that their models and scenes are all strikingly beautiful. The site’s weaknesses are minor. The price of $30 a month isn’t cheap, but neither is producing this kind of content, so I think Met is well worth the cost. All around, Met Art is an excellent site and I can’t wait to see where they go from here.
