Met Art is a photo and video site with a huge collection of content. It's a blend of the softcore, glamour, and photography niches meant for an audience looking to enjoy gorgeous models in all sorts of locations. One thing of note right off the bat is that the collection is made up stuff from dozens of photographers which is probably why the collection has shoots with so many different girls, locals, and artistic styles.
The Goods:
- Tons of Excusive Artistic Style Content. The size of Met Art is clearly one of its best assets. The yearly photo listings go back to 2003 and then there is an additional Met Art Archives section plus all the movies. While they use many photographers the overall artistic professional style of the site is consistent and well done. Met has one of the strongest softcore/glamour collections around.
- Super Hi-Res Pics & Hi Quality Vids. This site is always on the cutting edge of super hi-res photography. The pics are simply huge and there are zip downloads as well. For those who need lower res pics are offered as an additional option. The videos are also top quality with several format options to choose from (including iPod/PSP)
- Professional Design & Daily Updates. The overall layout is fits the site well. Since they add new stuff every single day the yearly/monthly archive set-up is a good fit. Additional features include Top Models, Best of Met, Keyword Search, Advanced Search, and Browser Options.
- Beautiful Models & Exotic Locations. There's no denying the models they shoot are gorgeous in every way. With so much content its great asset that the locations are so varied with a superb mix of indoor and outdoor photography. On rare occasions they even mix in a black & white shoot which add another dimension.
The Bads:
- Could Use Additional Search Filters. Aside from the text search field the "Advanced Search" allows for filtering the content by these characteristics: shaved, location, hair color, eye color, photographer, and model name. Since there is so much content I think they should expand these options. Off the top of my head it's be better if they added thing like bust size, ethnicity, hair length, and solo/multiple girl shoots. More choices will allow members to better pinpoint the exact type of girls and shoots they're looking for.
- Video Background Music. This is subjective but it has come up before in the course our reviews. Because there is music most of the videos don't have any introduction or speaking at all by the models. Also, I found it a bit distracting in the softcore girl/girl shoots - the normal video sounds would be more erotic than music in those shoots.
- A Little Bit Pricey. The monthly price is on the mid-high end for paysites. Certainly it's worth it as far as value goes because they have so much to offer. Still, I'm a cheap bastard who always likes to see lower cost memberships.
Conclusion:
Met Art has in place all the things I expect from a softcore photography paysite. The guest tour samples provide an accurate look into the style of shoots and what type of models can be found on the site. Basically, if you like what's there then a membership will probably be worthwhile.
