MarthasGirls.com is a vintage erotica site unlike any other I've ever seen before. In fact, it's really more of a "pretend" vintage site. Rather than posting actual small, deteriorated prints from 80 years ago, Martha creates her own retro erotica. She photographs today's beauties in the style of yesteryear and digitally alters the picture color and contrast to make it look like a high-quality, though somewhat aged picture of the last century. Now before you roll your eyes and assume Martha simply turned color prints to black and white and threw them on her site, I've got to tell you these pictures look very convincing. I looked through several galleries before I realized that I was not viewing actual vintage pictures. They look truly authentic! But more on that later.
The design here is simple and appropriate for the era we are supposed to be experiencing in the photos. Even Martha's directions and explanations to members are written in the gentle spirit of a proper woman from the past. Martha has four main girls who have complete biographies and multiple galleries as well as a secondary set of six girls with less information and fewer galleries. The biographies are very well-written and present interesting tidbits about the character in the photos as well as notes on how the pictures came into Martha's posssession. I do recommend reading them as they definitely contribute to the character of the site.
There are currently 142 galleries online, including the 15 of Martha herself. The galleries are on the short side, usually with around 15 pictures, but that's understandable considering the time that must go into altering each image. I'll admit that when I didn't know these were actually modern pictures in disguise I wondered at how Martha had come across such high quality vintage pictures! These pictures are much larger (500x750) and clearer than what you'll find on other retro sites. Of course, compared to what you'll find on good porn sites of today these pictures obviously don't have quite the same sharpness. Almost every set is in black and white or sepia with a few galleries including some "hand retouched" color pictures. But they do look authentic. One of the most interesting things to look at is each model's "modern" gallery of her in one of today's typical porn shoots and compare it to her retro set. It's amazing how these modern women are transformed through hair, makeup, costume, and scene into women from our great-grandparents generation.
All of the galleries here are softcore. The women model the lingerie and outfits in solo sets primarily, though there are a few galleries featuring two models. Though I doubt it would ever happen, I would love to see what Martha could do with a hardcore gallery! The site is updated twice a week with a new gallery which I think is really great, considering how much work goes into each set.
Though MarthasGirls.com is far from a typical porn site, I really enjoyed it. I honestly had no idea these weren't actual vintage images at first, they looked so authentic. You're not going to find better quality retro porn than this. The price is outstanding at $9 a month, especially with two updates each week. It may not be "porn" in the usual sense but I still think this a fun little site that is worth a look for all fans of vintage and artistic erotic work.

With two years gone by since our last look, it was definitely time for a follow-up of Martha's Girls. The site has grown a lot, now with 350 galleries up from 142. That's right on schedule for her twice weekly updates. The other thing that has grown is the image size, with new pictures at 1024x732. And finally, the price is also up since our last visit. Membership will now cost you $20 a month instead of $10. That's a big jump but still certainly a fair price for such unique content. It's not for everyone, but I can say I had fun at Martha's Girls and would recommend it to anyone looking for something different.
